Not just my favorite NBA player but my favorite athlete of all time. This man is literally the GOAT of the Spurs franchise. He has done and accomplished so much for the city of San Antonio and never showed off or be flashy and he never asked for anything. He just played the game of basketball, he let his fundamentals and skill of basketball do the talking. That’s how he got respect, by just showing up to work and practice and play the game of basketball. No doubt Hall of Famer

The way he worked through and defeated the daily grind that is life is what impresses me the most. He showed up to work everyday and always performed and could be counted on. It's very hard to do in life. What he accomplished as a guy with a job that did what was expected, reliably, consistently, and with class is, by far, the biggest achievement.

What TD so great was not just his play on court which was nothing short of phenomenal.....it was his willingness to "be coached" for the better of the team. Pop screening and yelling at Tim as he's no better than anyone else set the tone as well as create the structure of the team and franchise. Not LeBron, KD, Kawhi, Harden, Kyrie would never allow a coach to operate that way with them....hence they have never been as consistent as Tim. The greatest skill Tim ever had was not having an ego, entitlement, and more importantly not thinking he was any different than anyone else on the team. To me that was Tim's greatest skill..... something guys today will never be able to handle

Man I get chills everytime watching this video. I cant think of not one player in the NBA that was class act like Timmy D, maybe Alex English, but man the way Duncan carried his self shows character. I wish most of us in life had that, but sometimes we have to found it and nothing is wrong with that. Thank you Timmy D for the hard work u put in & definitely the sacrifice u made to build a winning team around u. 1 more thing that trips me out the sacrifice Duncan made on his salary. Unbelievable how under paid he was. Easily top 10 PLAYER OF ALL TIME, NOT PF, putting this man in my all time greats.

Such a great video...You nearly make me cry after watching all these, those ups and downs, how sad when Timmy left OKC's court. Miss him so much and still remember the good old days of 5 championship run of Timmy. Nothing more I can say, just great video. Subscribed.

mate thank you so much for that video, I've watched HUNDREDS of nba fan vids, but your selection of music COUPLED with the scenes, painstakingly selected even with off court interaction with other players.... absolutely brilliant.... fucking most emotional nba video I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN MY LIFE. thank you.

I am not a Spurs fan. But without a doubt have much respect for Tim Duncan. That man helped changed the game. I am not an expert, but in my personal opinion, Tim is the greatest PF of all time. He's gonna be missed

As I watch the tape I can't shake the feeling that Duncan should be considered not just the best PF of all time but the best player of all time. He single handedly turned a franchise into a dynasty, every season he played they were a 500+ team and made the playoffs, he brought 5 championships to San Antonio, on and off the court he displayed class no trouble in the locker room, no ball hog, never brought negativity to his team. I mean he was the embodiment of what you want from a player let a lone your star player. Non of this shit with Labron about I need this superstar or that superstar, no KD I want money I want money he just played and produced. When I was younger I didn know much about Timmy I was more of a Garnette fan but as time went on and o matured and actually understood the game I appreciated my Uncle sitting me down and showing the Spurs playing cause it wasnt about the flash or the high flying dunks it was about teamwork, effort, and hard work for them and that's what I like to see and in the middle of all that was Duncan. You are the Greatest of all time Duncan.

You know he'll throw that bank shot coming from the left side of the court but can't stop it.
