I'm left wondering why the keepers aren't shown notifying Tim about the nest of eggs. And, why they aren't shown transferring the eggs into the incubator and and baby habitat. In real life, Tim would be checking in on them, along with helping out and working with them as needed. But, it would be their responsibility to do those things. I guess he's involved so much for continuity for the camera and viewers? Just for the show... It's just that they show him doing everything. Yes, being the person ultimately in charge for crocs, alligators, and dangerous snakes, especially for captures makes sense. But for everything? Yes, he should know their routine and be able to sub. But, the series paints him as being overly involved in everything, as if everything is his special project that he does everything for, daily. From devils, wombats, koalas, wallabies, to cassowaries, snakes, alligators, and crocs. There's no way! Please introduce more of the keepers and let them show their own enthusiasm and the things they love about their charges. Tim can continue to talk about what they are doing and why.

I mean if you want to see that I'd recommend watching nature documentaries from Florida USA especially - I know my parents were watching one about different parks in America on Disney+ I think, where it happened. Obviously they can't do that when breeding them in captivity in Australia because its too hot and also a lot more dangerous

The only thing that would maybe work would be bringing the gator in an enclosure that no other alligator is in, the issue is that unless half tail chose that spot she won't look after them. I think. I am no expert I just listen to videos and can't believe everything on the internet

The fact that she was fiercely protective of her nest shows that she would make an excellent mother if conditions allowed her to safely hatch her eggs. When it comes to crocodilians and their cousins, the most successful mothers are the most fierce and protective. A mother gator needs that fiery attitude if she wants her hatchlings to survive to adulthood. And usually, only one or two out of all the hatchlings will survive to adulthood.
