It's my hometown too, I was in Outer Mission. Don't worry about people who would say it's "narcissistic." I used to not want to celebrate myself for anything- but I met a friend who was the total opposite. She gave herself a birthday month and she never once came off as narcissistic. She was a happy person who had self love. And I see this, it's what you said, this is how you show your love, this is your art. It is the one true treasure in this world when we can have our art and our loved ones together at the same time. This is wonderful. They’re the ones signing the license in place of whomever would have at the courthouse. Believe some states have a secondary registration requirement for those folks.
