Methylene blue is a Monoamine Oxidase inhibitor. MAOIs are good antidepressants and cardio and neuroprotective. However they have to be used with caution

If you keep your dose to the recommended 15mg daily for anxiety / depression, there is no issue with diet restrictions. There needs to be caution with other medications possibly. No SSRI's or serotonin supplements.

What a wealth of information! I love how he connects all the dogs and puts such a complicated set of issues relative to each other. I have a lot of the same medical history as this guy, would be able to talk to him for hours! Good stuff :-)

Interesting video! as far as alcohol and drugs, speaking for myself, I’ve used it throughout my life to change my state. I may not have been unhappy, but it’s just taking you to a different place as you get older it can get more insidious. I have eliminated all that stuff for the last three months and I can’t say that I feel a lot better but I’m also 61. I think you can get away with a lot more when you’re younger. Good luck ! Oh, and take methylene Blue!

I suggest you time stamp. This feels tedious. I work epiginetics and am MTHFR 677t. Very sensetive. I won't watch something like this. Timestamps would help.

I've heard the recommendations for MB dose is .5-4mg per kg pf body weight so 8mg 3 times a day seems low

Not sure why he thinks a 24mg dose is high for a grown man. I’m ~73kg so a full dose would be ~30mg @ .4mg/kg. Depending on his weight, his dose is probably normal. For 150lbs he’s right on the money.

Wouldn't high doses of MB affect your gut biome? If it's anti-bacterial and antifungal, couldn't it be killing the "good bacteria" as antibiotics do?

Good question, that’s come up a lot The short answer is: not at all. Antibiotics only kill bacteria, & overly target good bacteria, as many pathogenic strains are either naturally used to working w pathogenic mold (antibiotics is mold toxins or synthetic variations of them,mold naturally uses to kill enemies while sparing those it works well w) or have become immune w time. This allows parasites fungus amoeba viruses. and many pathogenic strains of bacteria like H. pylori to take over, more and more. Candida & other pathogenic fungus can be the worst as it has extremely high tolerances for toxins in general from blood pressure medicine to glyphosate’s fluoride etc it’s the last to die & Wi-Fi that harms probiotics & humans caused candida to grow faster in experiments. Even Rx antifungals can kill the person & the gut biome b4 getting rid of the issues in many cases, even according to mainstream doctors Meanwhile, combinations properly balanced of antibiotic herbs do the polar opposite, sparing probiotics while only killing pathogens for the most part, and actually increase the probiotic and your G.I. after use. Now, things like ozone MMS legit colloidal silver methane blue etc I pretty much kill everything, like you mentioned. Yet, research has consistently shown they don’t harm the gut biome, in fact they tend to do the opposite. And the main factor here seems to be one they kill everything in ballance, and the average person is supposed to have 90% pathogens in their GI. Once there numbers are reduced ur immune system can often start to make some progress, at least if antibiotics glyphosates & other toxic medications & foods etc 2. They seem to usually be absorbed thru the small Intestine, that’s not supposed to have bacteria & fungus living there, unlike the colon, but often does & this causes problems like CIFO & SIBO which have been linked to cancer heart attacks arthritis back pain & countless other issues probably due to GI penetration Anyways, there’s absolutely no evidence I’ve seen including antidotal & personal experience that any of these things in alternative medicine do anything but help the Gut biome. And that includes many of us who have horrible reactions to antibiotics but are fine using anything listed & many others from natural & alternative medicine. Since MB is synthetic, it’s only right to ask the Gut Biome question, but research has shown it none problematic. Anything that kills in balance (killing all forms of pathogens & probiotics) seems to have these same results. Homemade Kefir & other home ferments are immensely helpful especially when already killing off many of both their competitors & likely allies as well. Kefir made from kefir grains may actually colonize the gut, unlike most probiotics that breed but just pass thru, probably bc the bacteria live inside nuggets of friendly yeast. It’s still debatable but either way the original method has abt 40-50 probiotic species where the powdered starter or probiotic capsule method (PB8 are great especially for low carb milk & solaray makes fantastic probiotics that work for kefir or yogurt ) usually only have 8-12 probiotics of bacteria only. This may actually be desirable for those suffering from severe fungal issues tho, and either method of making kefir literally has trillions of probiotics per serving if not per tablespoon, as some studies have shown. To put it in person store bought kefir only has 5-20 billion per bottle or per serving, yogurt usually has less than 1 billion & only 1-3 probiotic species and some of the better probiotics usually have abt 10-15 billion even if claiming more. If u make kefir or yogurt w these same probiotics you can turn a handful of capsules into quadrillions of probiotics. This alone has been life changing for Most people who have implemented it & usually cures gut issues or at least usually puts them into remission. Allergies acid reflux IBS and countless other seemingly unrelated issues often get better or go away as well Long rant , hopefully helpful for those trying to optimize their gut biome. Recommend trying an MMS (protocol 1000) or ozone water cleanse first when possible for any issues in the upper GI

I started taking USP grade methylene blue some six months back. Today I am in great trouble. My kidneys have been damaged by this substance. Every one be very careful in case you are taking or thinking to start taking methylene blue.

I really enjoy k-hole, low dose and meditate my way into it. But I hate the side effects. Brain fog, headache etc. haven't touched the stuff in years because of that.
