@@beerdrinker8514 yeah ive been trying to figure out how he writes to try to come up with my own kind of stuff. I totally agree with you on how his style works. It seems like a really logical methodical approach when you break it down like that. Its like he starts with the simple chord movement and makes every chord block its own little melody/lick, turns up the complexity by adding harmonics, trills, bends and chord notes etc and then ultimately plays all the little blocks in a row together and you end up with this kinda freestyle scatty style. I absolutely love it.

ATTENTION! He made an error in explaining at 8:38, it took me a while to find what was throwing me off at the end. He says that you hammer on from the 13th to the 14th on the G string, and the pull back off to the 14 on the D. You never hammer the 13th to the 14th, you only pull off from the 14th to the 13th on the G string (after watching him at .25 speed). Hope this helps someone.

As far as suggestions go, if editing is a pain in the ass, i dont think anyone would really be opposed to you doing a longer unedited vid. That way you dont need to worry about jump cutting to the next section, and can give any other thoughts you have. Pretty sure everyone watching this is pausing and unpausing to figure stuff out anyway.

tims playing is very classical, where the guitar is used to fill up the whole spectrum of sound, with highs lows, bass and melody, its like piano and I bet lots of his riffs are written on pianos. People are used to the guitar being one instrument in a band of man. If you want to play like TIm, practice and learn classical guitar songs. His writting is epic and something unique to him! he is truly a master.

I feel like this is a Bill and Ted scenario. He goes to the future, learns from his tutorials, and then goes back in time and records his songs and tutorials for himself. There is no other way such heavenly music can be produced.
