@@beerdrinker8514 yeah ive been trying to figure out how he writes to try to come up with my own kind of stuff. I totally agree with you on how his style works. It seems like a really logical methodical approach when you break it down like that. Its like he starts with the simple chord movement and makes every chord block its own little melody/lick, turns up the complexity by adding harmonics, trills, bends and chord notes etc and then ultimately plays all the little blocks in a row together and you end up with this kinda freestyle scatty style. I absolutely love it.

ATTENTION! He made an error in explaining at 8:38, it took me a while to find what was throwing me off at the end. He says that you hammer on from the 13th to the 14th on the G string, and the pull back off to the 14 on the D. You never hammer the 13th to the 14th, you only pull off from the 14th to the 13th on the G string (after watching him at .25 speed). Hope this helps someone.

As far as suggestions go, if editing is a pain in the ass, i dont think anyone would really be opposed to you doing a longer unedited vid. Pretty sure everyone watching this is pausing and unpausing to figure stuff out anyway.
