@Anarchy Burger This is so true (I mean the part about mental stuff I can't say I can sweep pick or hit crazy trills like tim did) I literally just learned how to do pinch harmonics semi-consistently yesterday and I always thought that it just must be my guitar or some other dumb excuse because I was just getting some half baked harmonic thing instead of an actual squeal but I decided to just sit down and not stop until I get it done and I did. Turns out my right hand just wasn't in the right spot and I needed to move it according to the note I'm hitting, using the bridge pickup and a crap ton of gain helped a lot at first too. It's crazy for me to think that I just learned how to do this thing I almost gave up on and it was all because I kept on thinking I just couldn't do it so yeah I learned a valuable life lesson there, it probably also has some other implications besides guitar lol
@raulduke85 Жыл бұрын
Uhm well, to be honest i played for 18 years and it's 5 years I completly quit guitar; what I can tell you in my experience is that, for me, was nearly impossible to do anything like that if plugged to my valved amp, but it was, not easy, but pretty doable with my guitar usb plugged to my pc. I don'tmean to say that tim is not good; his skills are impressive and he keeps on growing as a better musician every day; but what you can do depends also on your gear.

I love almost all genres of music. I ran into Tim first before Ichika so I am more accustomed to his style of playing. I love the way it sounded and wanted more of that hybrid picking as I started musically on Buckethead songs. When I finally found Ichika, I realised "these men are at the pinnacle of their genre." While Tim goes for a more extreme or hard type of beat and rhythm with a strong tone, Ichika plays in a very soft and relaxing way with a tone almost meant for a luluby. They're opposites to the point of when they played together, they became perfect.

Has anyone noticed they are wearing opposite colors? Black and White? Even their guitars are of opposite colors. Edit. Please, I just wanted to point this out because it kind of reminds me of the yin and yang. Both these guitarists kind of resemble this concept. I like symbolism, and I like finding out hidden messages. If you know ichika, you know that he dresses and uses guitar according to song titles.
