I really love this technique and this card and saw that each layer of stamping removed more ink and the image became so clear and crisp. The first card was cool, I will go to your blog to see the results. Stellar artist= stellar cards. You are the stellar artist I follow like the fan I have become. This is really lovely.... and for the first time ever, I think I have all the ingredients already! Woohoo!!! Actually cancel that. I don't have the blending solution... but I do have Isopropyl Alcohol solution, so with any luck that will work. I'm going to try it in some other colours and again with some different stamps too. You are a great inspiration as always Therese. Thank you.

Lovely simple card. I was hoping you were going to transfer the image you took off the Yupo paper to card stock for a second card, using the alcohol ink as a colour pallet.

I think I did try it... but it didn't transfer well and now I can't remember what paper I tried, but I have seen others use this technique very successfully and will definitely remember it for next time. Thanks so much for your lovely visit. Crafty hugs, Therese

Perfect flower for this technique and I love your color palette, Therese I like to use Isopropyl alcohol (0.9%) instead of blending solution sometimes :) Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

what did you use to clean the alcohol ink off your stamp?? I have tried the alcohol lift ink just once and was not able to get the ink off the stamp, think I totally ruined my stamp and it was a very expensive stamp. thanks for sharing your card. (new sub here.)

Hi Heidi, I used the Ultra Clean from Ranger to clean my stamp and I did do it immediately. So far I haven't noticed any problems with the photopolymer other than the staining from the ink. And I would love to know how your stamp was ruined as I would hate this to happen to mine too? Also I would presume that a 'red rubber' stamp would stand up to the Alcohol lift ink better than the photopolymer, except then it does become restricting which images you can use... but the packaging on the Ink pad states that it can be used for both rubber or a clear stamp and to clean it with 'all-purpose non-toxic cleaner'. Love this card. Get some isopropyl alcohol to clean your yupo paper, it's way cheaper than blending solution.

Thanks Glennis, I haven't found the isopropyl alcohol easy to source in Australia, the one I did find is only about 70% but I definitely will give it a try. Thanks for visiting, Crafty hugs, Therese

i've put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and have used that to move the inks. great card, my lifting wasn;t as dramatic, I think because my ink layer wasn't bold enough, not sure ;-)

I did add lots of ink, but plan to try it with a 'lighter' layer too. It's a fun technique isn't it! Hugs my crafty friend, Therese

I just used the Ultra Clean but be aware your stamps will stain (it doesn't bother me because I would rather be using them. I hope you will have as much fun with your Lift Ink as I am. Crafty hugs, Therese
