So I have to say, two years ago, my mom found you Mr. Holtz. I have her so much whoohoo over going nuts over your products and projects. It was always Tim Holtz this and Tim Holtz that. Then...Christmas of 2022 I got a bunch of paper crafting things. I started doing junk journals and ephemera etc. Totally went crazy and spent way way more than I should have. I have to say, I now fangirl over your products too! lol. Seriously the thought, the time and effort you go into with your demos and the products you support are worth it. However I seriously love the fact that you say, you do you. I love the fact that even though you support your products you also remind us to use what we have and not to go crazy. I see so many that say, you must have this or that. Respect to you sir. Also now that I realize you live in Arizona, as my mom and I do...I will be digging to see if you do any thing were we could take the road trip up from the valley and see meet you live. Inquiring minds want to know! But thank you for all you do for the craft!

I love the flowers, I need more. Tim says "Does it have to be brown! Yes here it does" LOL here too!!! I have some drying to try. I love getting my fingers dyed playing with flower petals and distressing them. With distressed Ink sprays and oxides I haven't dried before spraying. Its time to play.

WOW, LOVE These!!! I’m not even a paper crafter. I’m a glass artist. These are so cool and I’ve been finding lots of uses for them within my “glass” / mixed media art pieces. I’d LOVE to know the chemistry wizardry that goes into how these work. I was geeking out all over to my husband prepping for holiday selling using these Wax colors as finishing touches in various things.

I bought both sets and am excited to use them! Thanks for explaining the properties and how to use it. In addition to the applications you demonstrated, this could work for gilding the edges of quilling strips. One question--can this be used on polymer clay? I create mixed media mosaics with polymer clay and wonder if I can apply foundry wax to the unbaked polymer clay tiles and then have it heat set when I bake them in the oven vs. hitting it with a heat gun?

I don't work with polymer clay so I don't know the answer, sorry.

...did I understand it right?......for mor fluid,...if you'll splatter,.....you take a little bit of isopropanol alcohol?....I love the effect of foundry wax.....

Yes, isopropyl alcohol will thin Foundry Wax to paint and splatter.
