Tim and Mario, thanks for being willing to do these lives! They inspire me to make and when I make, it causes all the bad stuff to melt away. I really enjoy these lives about fabric, and I bought my first sewing machine so I can try adding fabric to my paper crafts. Thank you guys!!

I never realised I could use my regular dies with fabrics! I'm already mentally going through my die collection for potential ideas. Inspirational demo - as always! Just ordered 2 of the fabrics - my 12 year old will make her Dad a Father's Day cushion from Expedition whilst I get busy with the Travel collage paper making him card files and clipboards. Thanks Tim and Art from the Heart.

This was a fabulous video. I didn't know you had fabric, Tim. I like how you explain the differences between quilter's cotton and your new canvas and the uses for each. And how you show the difference between fabric scissors and other scissors. And you even used the 'M' word! MATH, to give instructions on the cutter. You are a wonderful educator. The makers made fun projects and I appreciate the education on how to use fabric for papercrafts and to die cut. Thank you!

Love your quality fabrics. They are gorgeous. You are right you don’t always need a sewing machine to create something beautiful with your fabrics. I have seen videos crafters making pillows and fabric journals just using the glue gun. Fabric you can use for sew or no sew. Or you can hand stitch. Your video is always helpful and gives us all inspiration . Thanks for sharing.

The first quilt I ever made had a lot of Tim fabrics. It was for my husband’s man cave and it came out great - if I do say so myself. I have fabric to create a quilted cover for my vintage typewriter now. I love his fabrics. They fill a real gap in the market. I buy them from an independent quilting shop.

So glad you did this video about the use of fabrics! I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t watch the last fabric video because I had the mistaken impression it wouldn’t “be for me” as a maker that mainly uses paper…. Boy was I wrong! I can see this fabric being beautiful glued over heavier canvas to make junk journal bindings and fabric die cuts for cards and junk journal ephemera.

Tim, your camera adjusts it's focus when you move the fabrics closer and further away. Your lense is adjusting constantly as you are moving the fabric and your hands around. You can see everything in perfect focus but we are getting zoom, blur, zoom, blur. The motions of your hands are messing with the focus. Any hope you can stop moving constantly. Shifting the fabric from place to place, No Bueno.
@timholtz Жыл бұрын
Sorry you're hot happy with the video quality. I talk with my hands and like to show close-up of things at times which means yes, the camera has to adjust focus when I do. No plans to change how I move when I am doing a video.
