My father passed away last October. For some reason while watching this video today it truly hit me. I was all caught up in the memories of me, my two brothers and father riding in his old 70's F150. We spent so many days cutting grass, growing crops, going to practice and games. I even learned to drive stick in it. Most of all we laughed alot and learned about life in that truck. "There's to many memories". It sat for maybe 10yrs and it cranked up last year. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm thinking about restoring it and just ride through the country with it. Make new/old memories with my grandson.

Heard this song for the first time today. I have no idea how long it’s been out, but WOW. THIS song, along with Tim McGraw, is what country music, “old & new” is all about. The stories of regular life. My hats off to Tim for doing whatever he has to do to keep it real. Greetings from England. My compliments on an excellent song and accompanying video. I rate all of McGraw's work highly, but have to say that this is inspired. I've always been fascinated by the way a car, a house or a place acts as the third element in a relationship that binds two people. As the song suggests, a car is the ideal metaphor for movement and for one's journey through life. For whatever reason, I remember all the crates I've owned. The roads travelled, trips taken, beer drank and loves won and lost. The rare victories and the many, many defeats. It's all there, stored up in the paintwork on that metallic shell. Warts and all. As is that undeniable sadness when the time comes to say goodbye. That last look after handing the keys over, knowing a part of you is driving away with it. All that's left are photos to spark a memory. I hope this finds everyone well in these strange times. Be sure to take those trips and to make those memories. They're worth their weight in grief and petrol. Cheers and all the best.

30 yrs ago I was poring beer 3.00 a glass and serving popcorn, hotdogs and nachos for a new country singer Tim McGraw and a few more taping a video in Rockford Illinois. 4.25 a hour put cardboard under our feet. Only a cash drawer. The boss kept you until the till was counted. My stand was the only one that didn’t run out of beer but it was running really slow with a heard of fans waiting. No tips. Everyone was happy and blessed. The show was a success at the metro center. Concessions have changed. I’m so glad you became a success. Fast forward 2019 in Lake Tahoe at your concert I was in the hotel with Cancer for my daughters Miss Hooters international Contest . I could see the stage from the 4th floor. Opening the window I could hear you as I lay in bed. I could see the stage you in your white shirt and hat. You weren’t so young anymore but still amazing. I was living , kids wheeling me through the casino had my wig after just finishing 6 months of chemotherapy! Amen 2023
