Despite the criticism of Tim using Auto-Tune and hip-hop beats, this hasn't been a bad song to me at all, since it first came out. It's just Tim venturing out into what was going on in country at the time, and you can't expect him to sing "Indian Outlaw", "Where the Green Grass Grows" or "She's My Kind of Rain"-style songs forever. As an artist, you need to branch out and try new things. As Taylor sang, "Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate"!

I don't care what all the haters say, this song is FRESH. It's great to see Tim Mcgraw test the waters with a different sound, I think he did an excellent job with this song. Doesn't really sound country, so i know it has disappointed alot of Tim fans who are used to his normal country music. The autotune sounds really cool. I'm open minded however and find this song excellent. It's a shame his record label pulled it entirely from radio to release Meanwhile Back At Mama's....cuz this song was gonna go to #1 it was #11 on the charts when it was pulled.

Those who have an issue with the way artist express themselves. Will have to understand that it may not always be for your pleasure. I know most of the stuff I write and sing is therapy for trying to make sense of a world that has been self consumed (Hence why you complain about this song because so are you). i was born in 1992. My whole life has been spent listening to country artists like Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, etc. Growing up was like the same thing as seeing their music careers progress. So when i say i know who Tim McGraw, believe me i do. I get this isnt his usual stuff. But its still country without a doubt and has a great meaning. It might take a little more intelligence to thoroughly appreciate this type of track, but please dont hate. Its amazing and I love it just like most of his other tracks.
