And imma be honest….the game fidelity wise was bad, OG MW2 &3 looked better fidelity wise if not pretty damn close, and the game wasn’t anything new🤷🏾‍♂️ I don’t think it matters when it came out, the game was destined to fail

The best thing about vanguard is easily the match pacing options, Vanguard wasn't as bad of a COD as most people think, it just wasn't the best for Warzone and the Multiplayer wasn't that fun for long periods of time.

HATE how hated Ghosts is. It's so obnoxious and uncalled for. Even when it was out everyone moaned about it but I was playing it day in, day out and it was incredible. Such a good game. THE BEST CAMPAIGN EVER. Extinction was LITERALLY goated and the multiplayer was so fkin fun. Still will never understand the reason Ghosts got and is still so hated. Think my favorite was BO3 and to me it was the most fun I’d say and that’s because me and my older brother played it for 3 years and just enjoyed it together. The crate system was just fun and awesome and getting character skins and all the dope weapon skins in the game and how the game looked and the wall jumping and all it was just fun. COD4….first cod to blow up the franchise in 2007, at the time, was deemed the best cod game….then MW2 came out after a legendary cod and took that title like a WWE champion, then bo2 released, and took that title tho it and MW2 are neck and neck, my point is….its very possible to release a cod after a legendary one and it be great, in fact it happened bout 4 times before ghost….ghost just failed to continue that trend (rightfully so). It had no ground breaking, make or break ft’s, hardly anything was new, fidelity wise the game wasn’t anything appealing to look at or much better if even any better at all from og MW3, and it brought and did nothing for cod. Ghost releasing after bo2 being its downfall was the fandoms dying breath of copium. Bo2 had NOTHING to do with ghosts downfall, the game wasn’t anything special. You look at WW2 and it suffered the same fate, you look at vanguard and it suffered the same fate, you look at MW2 the recent one and it suffered the same fate….NONE of these games in question was anything new, crazy, game changing, or brought anything to the cod table. They’re bad cod games, maybe good fps games, but in the “call of duty hall of fame” it rightfully so doesn’t belong. I can name prolly 10 cods that are way better than ghost and actually provided to the cod scene….what carried over from ghost? What was so great about ghost that they continued to do so like bringing gobblegums back? Why isn’t there a ghost 2 but there’s a sequel to literally every other cod?

There's a good reason why Ghosts was viewed that way. Let's not pretend like it was better than it was. As someone who played the game nearly 500 hours or so, I was forced to play that game. I didn't have many options. I had no other game at the time aside from Far Cry 4 and Bloodborne, and I wasn't that big on Soulgames as I am now. I would have rather stayed playing Bo2, but my last gen console died before I switched to next-gen.

And now we reach the controversial era because here's my thing about Modern Warfare 19 I didn't care for it the year it came out because like everyone said it was so promotional to the people that love to not move around all game and that's also what made me not give a f*** about war zone because back then I was as bad as any casual you could find on the street so I knew if those kind of people are already dominating the multiplayer I don't even want to care about the people that are going to be dominating war zone but then season 6 happened and for some reason it brought me back and I just knew I already was not going to care about Black Ops 4 Vanguard so I literally spent the two years after Modern Warfare 19 only playing Modern Warfare 19 because it felt so much better than either one of those then Modern Warfare 2 happened and all the Early Access campaign stuff happened and I had the slightest glimmer of hope again just for the end of that campaign to be absolute dog water and destroy it all again
