I think it's safe to say this is my favorite. I always particularly enjoy the more obviously handmade toys and the mechanical ones. Combined with my lifelong love of airplanes, this is wonderful! The little trip through them all hung up was an interesting twist on the usual format as well.

My grandfather was a flight instructor in the RCAF during world war 2… Tim reminds me of him a lot. He loved aero planes… and he taught our boys to conduct raids over the Nederlands. Thanks for our freedom. Thanks Tim for keeping his memory alive.

If they are looking to sell the whole collection they should try airports. When they rebuilt our airport they hung a bunch of small airplanes made out of aluminum cans. Great video Tim.

possibly the first time we’ve seen this much of the “studio”, they usually film close to Tim but this time it was tough to do so due to the toys. it’s great how a simple curtain and table in tight can make it look like a professional recording studio

Those are so interesting! I love the amount of detail in each one. They remind me of balloons and airplanes that might have been on the cartoon series, Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines.

Camera lens seems to be shaking very badly in this episode. Must be a stabilization software issue.

This one was hand held! We were using a steadicam, but still... not as steady as shooting on the normal jib arm.
