In today's episode, I am playing Eternal Central MTG against Dane from the USA. He is bringing four Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore to the table and combines them with a playset of Underworld Dreams. I am battling this black mage with one of the most iconic creature types that we know in Magic the Gathering, Goblins! What will become of my Goblin army when they face the Evil Eye? Will they freeze in terror or charge forward?

It’s all real. I believe there are two matches on the channel where my opponent uses a proxy card, but in general I like to play by the principle, play with what you have.

They don’t see a lot of play in the EU and I don’t own any, but I’m absolutely fine with people playing them.

@@vintagemagiccollector2245most regions allow CE cards AND unlimited proxies . This is a casual format, not a format for the elite rich I’m a photographer and I actually play test 10-20 decks at a time at home by using my high level printer to print cards and use them for testing, you can do this for your deck with most play groups. I know a lot of European groups don’t allow proxies, which is just lame and bad for the format IMO You can also order proxies from proxy king and they look like the real thing, even the card back

It’s against those white mages that want to set behind their cop reds. Thought it might be interesting to test it out. I’ve also tried a deck with a white splash for disenchant after sb and tested mana barbs and 4x disc. Still not 100% convinced about the best approach, but at least this is something that they usually don’t expect. 👌

Cool decks, love the goblin grenade and the bloodlust is very cool doesnt see enough play in my opinion. Also the mono black deck looks great only part for that in my opinion it could use more focus

In game 2, before blowing the Disk, I think I would have attacked with the Goblin, played the grenade, then Wheel of Fortune with the hope to draw at least one land, and then possibly blow the Disk depending on the draw. Actually, with your drawing another Black Vise, blowing the Disk was not necessary: your opponent would have died from the two Black Vises next turn. :-) ... Well actually I realize you didn't have the Wheel of Fortune in hand yet when making that choice, so that was indeed a tough choice to make.

After recording it and looking back, I realize that he used his Relic Barrier in my upkeep forcing me to use it before I could play the grenade. That was a pretty good play from Dane actually 🤓

I play and make vids of the cards and formats I like. For me, nothing beats OS 93/94 preferably without FE. Sometimes, I take a step out of my comfort zone and I do love it as long as its from time to time. For example, we had a tournament called The Wizard's Cup where we played with The Dark, FE and Homelands. Fork is a great card, but the big question is, what would you take out?

@@TimmytheSorcerer I am a little confused on why the black vices are in the deck. Since it is an aggro burn deck, your opponent is likely to play aggressively as well, and thus not have too many cards in hand above 4. So perhaps take out the black vices and add 2 fork and perhaps another ball lightning and fireball , but I could be totally wrong and not understanding the deck.

I agree goblin grenade with fork is great. It allow you to do 10 damage to any target (or split 5 and 5) by only sacrificing 1 goblin.

@@TimmytheSorcerer since you are not playing with power, put the blood moons in the board. You could run 3 Fork, which would be interesting against Hymn and Ancestral Recall too.
