I have really been enjoying your 45 collection series. I’m surprised The Eurogliders were blocked. I love that song Heaven by them. You can’t go wrong picking up anything on Stax. There are a few labels I always look for. Thank you for the 100 Proof needle drop. That was awesome. Happy spinning.

Thanks for the kind words😊 I remembered when you mentioned a bit of interest in me doing this. It was you and Bill from the Vinylverse that nudged me over the edge but it has been so much fun. And some of the gems I forgot I had. I was shocked too about The Eurogliders. KZbin copyrights are so random. But glad that 100 Proof found you well. Good evening T & O. Nice to see you both. I thought that I knew the song in the intro. It sounded familiar. I checked it out more online and come to find out I did not know it. One of the comments for the song said that the album was criminally underrated. Hmm? >< Have not heard that Edmunds song in years. I only saw him once live and that was with Rockpile in 1980. It was a real treat seeing Dave and Nick Lowe playing together. That band was incredible. No rock band from the eighties could imitate that fifties sound better than Rockpile. >< The music that Sly Stone delivered was incredible. Hiya Rob. James Vincent i could not find much on. That album was listed as Prog Rock and Jazz Funk. From the single and the samples I didnt hear any prog, but I was intrigued. One of those if I see it I might give it a go. Rockpile/Nick Lowe/Dave Edmunds, just some great 80s pop with definitely that throwback feel. Feels modern but also not. At least back then. But Slipping Away was a heavy rotation song for me. I have the lp but always pull the single for a couple of spins. Been looking for that Rockpile album for a bit, but never see it even though it isn't expensive. Might just order it to be done. Always appreciate hearing from you my friend. Trust all is well in your part of the world.

Oliver and Sir Seal have been best buds, love seeing him get lost in a sea of blankets and snuggled up to his new buddy... makes me forgot all the bs of the day.
