Guy was responsible for some of the best KMFDM tracks EVER. period. Today, etc were just so fucking epic.

Been following Skold's music since 96. I first saw him play with MDFMK at the Palace in LA. Then with Manson, then his solo tour. He's a great musician.

@megadien - I agree, Shotgun Messiah were truly amazing. Skold's solo material is flawless, too. Check out his 3 new singles (A Dark Star, Bullets Ricochet and I Will Not Forget) - new album due sometime this year... he's back recording as Skold.

yeah i was mistaken i got years mixed up i think when i saw them in 06 he was playing live guitar. but either way i was actually responding to someone who said he still plays for manson but its been years. you left out the most important side project of all though his solo album/band or wtv called skold was amazing. he probably my favorite guitarist rivaled only by maybe kaoru from dir en grey
@D347H210 жыл бұрын
I really wish Tim was still with Manson, the music has changed since him and Ginger Fish left, and not in a good way.
@delpantion60458 жыл бұрын
D347H well as you can hear from this video....... Marilyn Manson basically didn't find his sound until after he heard Tim skold. After ripping off Tim skold he thought to have employed his Idol. Tim skold realize that Marilyn Manson's a douchebag and left the band. insulted by this Marilyn Manson is now trying to find a different sound. Marilyn Manson being an untalented douche bag has no idea what to do evidence is his music currently
@alexcrowface98987 жыл бұрын
Problem with Skold is that he has the sound but he doesn't have a voice. Which is why he worked so well together with Manson. Sadly that being said, they are nothing without one another. Skold doesn't have the same amount of force without Manson and Manson doesn't have exactly the same sound without Skold. Not to mention Skold on his own sounds like a generic guy from a Swedish industrial/metal band thats very forgettable because he simply does not have that voice. While you will know Manson from miles away. Also Mansons new albums are arguably the best he has ever created. Just with a different sound. So no clue, what you're on about there. He might be a douchebag but no less creative than Skold. On top of all that, you keep forgetting how long those guys have been together. Most bands switch out members 10 times before they finally call it quits. Almost no original members left.

Manson's music was better before Skold joined. Skold made KMFDM better. But oh well. Skold is never a permanent member of any band.

@alexn69able really, you sure about that. You may want to check this live video out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZvThoedjtFpms0&feature=related I also like how he left out that little side project of his, Kapt'n K and Lucia C called MDFMK back in 2000 after the breakup of KMFDM in 99. All of his projects he has been involved with have been good.

I LOVE TIM SKOLD!!! i respect you Tim and think your badass, but its funny cus even tho hes a great musician and played a good solo there... when manson and slayer came here live Tim must have been fucked up on something or tired from touring cus he could not play that solo or most the others. Played great thru the chorus and lyrics but whenever solos came he kept missing notes. I loved the show, love your music, even the manson albums ppl dissed but ya just practice more drunk and playing haha

I remember holding an Ampeg Amp while Tim simulated sex from the front of the cabinet! If I didn’t hold it he would have screwed it off the stage! I was his all-around tech for Shotgun Messiah and did their first US tour in 1989. Back then he was known as Tim Tim.
