Back in the 1950's there was a comedy show on UK radio called Educating Archie featuring ventriloquist Peter Brough and puppet Archie Andrews! Didn't transfer to TV so well! Lol.

Too funny! UK also had famously the ventriloquist, Peter Brough, who in the 1950's performed on the radio. Only in the UK do we have that level of madness!
