@@Carryhandle556 My wife just bought me a new Beretta A300 Patrol in May 2024 for my birthday. My only complaints about the A300 Patrol that I received is that it is in that fruity blue camo and that there wasn't an owner's manual anywhere in the box because thie A300 Patrol doesn't come with an owner's manual BUT you can see the owner's manual at the Beretta website I don't have a cell phone and I use the computer as little as possible at home since I am on a computer quite often in my job and the last thing that I want to do is be on a stinking computer all day at work and then come home and replicate my day at work. I guess the cost saver team figured that since Beretta was selling their shotguns at such a cheap price (Sarcasm) and damn near giving their shotguns away (More Sarcasm) then us Beretta shooting freeloaders don't deserve a hard copy owner's manual As for the gun itself, I do love my Beretta A300 Patrol except for the fruity blue camo finish but I couldn't complain when my wife decided to surprise me with such a fine shotgun. Why did my wife choose fruity blue? Well because when my wife walked into the local gun shop to order the shotgun the shop owner's wife waited on my wife and told my wife that she (Owner's Wife) loved the fruity blue so much that she bought herself an A300 Patrol in fruity blue AND because the owner's wife wanted her own rare gun and proceeded to tell my wife that Beretta only made between 2,000 and 5,000 A300 Patrols in the fruity blue color scheme. I guess it isn't that big of a deal since it's not the type of shotgun that I will take to a trap shoot but on the other hand I won't let that fruity blue stop me from grabbing the shotgun if trouble kicks up on my farm or send a slug down the fruity blue barrel at trespassing deer in my lower pasture. That is IF the deer trespass during deer season

the only trap rounds I have shot required one shot at a time. Load the shell directly into the chamber, then shoot at the clay. Or pull the bolt back to remove the chambered round. Regarding unloading the A400. You can actually save a few steps on the remaining shells in the magazine by pushing in the shell lifter and while depressed, pressing down on the attachment point (screw head) of the paddle release (not the paddle itself). This will release the shell into your fingers/hand. Very simple and efficient. Most all SA's are capable of unloading this way.

I also commented this lol wish I seen this first.
@newscoulomb37052 ай бұрын
It's generally true for any tube magazine. What I think people are avoiding is that he was clearly trying to not drop any shells on the ground. That means he's holding the gun in a safe direction, manipulating one or more parts of the gun, holding shells that have already been removed, and attempting to catch the remaining shells as they are unloaded. To me, it's the people who say it looks "awkward" who aren't experienced with unloading a gun in the field.

yes, this is how walz was unloading.
@davidransom4476Ай бұрын
The problem I see with this, (and I thought he was trying to load it from shells in the same hand as holding it), is that he said he bought it for trap. My dad shot trap at the gun club a lot, and reloaded to save money. I've even seen other sites use "skeet" as if that's the same as trap. My dad might shoot 5-6 rounds of trap on a Sunday at the club. Through all those shells, he would only load one shell at a time for each time he shot. He never did a round where they throw two birds. This tells me that Walz might never have used the magazine on his Beretta if he only used it for trap. I had a Remington 1100 I bought around 1967 that I would just manually cycle to unload, either ejecting the shells or pulling the bolt back and rolling it to catch the round. No fancy buttons.

I own one of these and I am willing to bet that he got a round stuck under the loading ramp by pressing the button on the side, and was unable to get it out from under there. It's user error - but after owning and using the firearm for a while you should know how not to make the mistake as well as to clear the shell quickly and safely if you do get it lodged under there. I don't buy the "when I shot a lot of trap" line. Don't tell me for a second this guy wouldn't have bought Beretta's most expensive and flashy trap guns build just for that purpose. Thanks for the video!

He's been hunting at every opener in Minnesota since he became governor. Got a rooster in 2019, 2021 and two in 2022. Lots of people don't like his politics, but this version of Tim Walz you're seeing is the same Tim Walz he's always been. Yeah he's a real dork, but that's him.

Walz stated that he bought the 8400 when he was skeet shooting. It was obvious he had no clue how to handle the shotgun. The big deal is Walz once again lies about his experience with his shotgun and hunting.

You are right on! A simple video of unloading a semi auto shotgun was over sensationalized by the media. I've owned the same gun and struggled with it at times. The points about Harris/Walz taking away weapons hit the nail on the head also. I too am rural and love my shotguns. Great presentation!

@@rickhicks6833 a shotgun is the gun type that is use at trap, dont tell me you shot an AR, bolt rife or a pistol. Yes, a Beretta DT11 is a better option but at the end of the day you can use any shotgun you want. You trump minions cant have critical thinking 🤔
@ernesthercher51932 ай бұрын
A trap gun is designed to shoot high at a rising target. You can shoot trap with a hunting shotgun it’s just harder. Anybody that has shot a lot of trap uses a gun designed for trap if he’s serious. And yes I have shot a fair amount of trap and I own a A-400 like they are talking about.
@rickhicks68332 ай бұрын
@ernesthercher5193 hahaha, no shit, fucking brilliant mr. Obvious. He said he "bought it for trap." So a trap. Specific gun. Not a hunting gun. I shoot trap 2 days a week with an ithica model 37, a Winchester 1912 or a bennelli sbe3. They are not trap guns. Most people are using Kreighoff's, Perrazi's or Browning bt-99 or Citori's. Those are trap guns.

Just want to thank you sir for your work to show people what an amazing versatile firearm the shotgun is. It's a shame more people aren't subscribed to your channel. I'm 54 years old and been shooting a shotgun for literally 48 of those blessed years. I started with a single shot 410 and my love has grown over the years. I use a shotgun for everything from squirrel, rabbit, quail, grouce, turkey, bobcat, fox, coyote and even deer. Nothing is as versatile as the shotgun and never will come close. Thank you for all your work. I can tell a real man when I see one. God bless

Thank you for making this video! Unfortunately it takes some guts to tell the truth in today’s society. A lot of “hunters” are not gun people, every hunting season they have to relearn their firearm. It’s funny to watch but I wouldn’t hold it against him except that he tries to sell himself as a regular shooter. Dishonesty and half truths don’t go far with me. As a Minnesota resident I keep hoping people will wake up and start thinking for themselves. So many people just vote down party lines without a single thought if the candidate actually represents their values. Then again many people in the Twin Cities area seem to have completely lost their minds, no faith in God, calling what is evil good and what is good evil, really sad to watch. I love your show, God bless you and your family!

If you're shooting trap, 9/10 times you're only loading one shot, so this issue would not come into play. Sometimes you load two, but same thing, it wouldn't come into play.
@briannemec9214Ай бұрын
When shooting trap, unless shooting doubles, you only load one shell at a time. The shell is laying in the open receiver. The shell is not put in the chamber until you are ready to shoot. I do not have a 400 for trap I have 391s. It is a very rare that I ever I had to unload after placing a shell in the receiver. And to unload you just roll the shotgun and the shell drops in your hand. On doubles roll the shell out into your hand, release the bolt, pull bolt back and roll out the second shell into your hand. Fast and simple. So one could shoot a lot of trap and never had to unload the magazine. If I was a hunter I would probably do the same. That way no matter which auto I was using the unload is the same. just saying

I traveled all over the Southeast shooting trap in competitions. The shotgun that Tim has in the video is for hunting, not shooting trap. The only shooters that showed up at a trap field with this type of shotgun were hunters trying to get used to shooting and leading a target again after a long break.
