I have one of these that I use as my home defense shotgun. I bought a kit to put an AR-15 adjustable stock on it and have an 18 in slug barrel on it as well. I super glued a high VIs fiber optic sight on the barrel rib and bought a cheap barrel clamp with picatinny rails on it so that I can mount my flashlight and a laser on it. Bottom line I feel totally protected against any Intruders that would try to kick in my door.

I just learned of the Garmin S1. How about a review of that too and comparison with this. I have not yet read one review on the Garmin S1 but will later this weekend. I am new to trap shooting. Others have been able to tell me if I missed low or behind. I am not sure how they are able to see that. I can often tell what I did wrong even as I press the trigger but knowing all the time and having confirmation may be nice.

Made friends playing black out. This new is too trash to want to play. Black out we could really fuck around and have fun doing it. We would win by mistake. It was better being able to modify your gun as you played 🍒🧡

For rent sounds amazing. I feel like this is one of those things that I use a lot for a short period of time and then it just collects dust somewhere.

The rent idea is smart. There is no way I would buy one of those but if the price was right I would rent one for a day.

Spend the money on lessons from a qualified coach instead. Hint: "NRA Certified Instructor" does not mean the coach is qualified. This product will tell you where you missed, not why you missed. The why you missed, is way more valuable.

Wouldn’t recommend this gun over an 870 or a mossberg 590 series. The maverick 88 is prolly better tbh. I’ve had feeding/ejecting issues with this gun particularly. (Not all user error)

Wow, great idea but way out of my budget range.

I got a 12 Guage Remington 870 express for Christmas when I was 12. With that gun I've out shot more $2,500+ trap guns than I can count on both hands. I learned on it. Wing shooting and trap, and I've never had a problem one with it. It was a $250 gun when I got it, and I'd buy it any day over a benelli of any of any sort. But that's mostly because I can't justify paying thousands for a gun I don't need.

I got a 20 gauge express at 15, similar story. I’ve never understood the desire for such expensive shotguns. Maybe it’s just that I’ve never shot one🤷🏻♂️

@@claytonatkinson865 my dad has a beautiful Beretta over and under that's fun to shoot. And I've shot a dammed expensive benelli, but I just love my 870!

O F Mossberg & Sons found a niche in the shotgun market around 1900. Low priced, quality firearms. After the 1960's, their marketing shifted to the 500 series of semis. They CAN build a quality gun.

Years ago when they first started making the over and under variants I saw a lot of them breaking internally very quickly. Idk, they may have fixed that issue by now though, but given what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t own one.

Steve, you should also review Clay Hunter VR. We just got it this for Meta Quest 2 with Texture VR stock and it’s been amazing for training. Great feedback on hits and misses (somewhat similar to what is this device doing, but way more information).

I bought a ShotCam a few months back. From my perspective, the ShotCam is more of a shot recorder and is somewhat limited as a teaching tool. In retrospect, I wish I had known about this technology. The amount of information it provides with each shot is incredible. Seems to be a rather valuable teaching tool and just what you need for your practice sessions.

How do you use the Shotkam to better your shooting? Can you actually see where you are missing? It just seems like it’s hard to see on the videos I’ve viewed on KZbin. I’ve been on the fence with getting one.

So I have been watching a ton of your videos lately and love how informative they are! I wanna get my first inertia shotgun with a budget up to $1300. My main use would be for grouse and turkey hunting and would like to get a 20ga. Do you think the best pick would be a M2 field? Thanks again for all the great content! Keep up the good work!
