I have put off watching this video because I thought you were going to say we needed to have a detailed plan for what the days ride would be. Was I wrong . I usually think of what I would like to accomplish with my horse today but I usually say " lets see what he gives me today" and we go from there. I've always been this way 🙂 Very good teaching on this one.

I really like how you tailor your training for the owner’s particular needs and how you explain why you do what you do.

Harley has improved so much from the start to the end of the video. She is way better at the ending . This information is very helpful. I appreciate you taking time for the boring parts of training as you can see if makes a big difference when you do that kind of training with her.

I'm like you, I like to stay flexible because plans can change, as for training sometimes you may have to take a step back. You think you can move to the next step but your horse isn't quite ready for that next step, so continue where you were before, sometimes the horse has an off day too.

I found this very helpful. I've begun a "road trip" with my horse with an end goal. The, "how do I get there" part was the murky part in my mind. Thank you for this helpful video!

Yes! Many people skip that boring type of training but when you don't skip it you get such good results.

What does it mean when you said, root on your hands? Thank you
@timandersonhorsetraining3 жыл бұрын
When a horse lowers it's head to try to pull the reins out of your hands to get slack, that's what I mean by rooting on your hands.
