Maybe, but maybe not. What if tastes change or another artist comes and people stop listening? The money they got was guaranteed, plus they can put it in bonds or whatever and make guaranteed money for the rest of their life like that too. Money is trash because it loses value (inflation). The government printed so much of it. My 83yo grandmother bought her house for $30,000. Today the same (older) house is worth $250,000. Did the house get bigger or did the money get worse? Regular people have to buy assets to stay ahead of inflation. Wealthy have to buy LARGE assets to do the same thing.

Tomorrow with tech those asset may be useless that house value can go all the way down. Smart to cash in now with the state of affairs and just reinvest money 1/2 of 100 is 50 million. Spend a few and you got a lot to invest in a bunch of stuff like land crypto businesses etc In addition the gov owns the house because property taxes never go away and if you live in ca or NY that tax is crazy high.
