My Dearest, As the sun rises over the rolling hills of our beloved countryside, I find myself compelled to write to you, moved by the sight of your unwavering dedication. Each day, I watch you from a distance, your skilled hands shaping our future with every swing of the hammer, every precisely placed beam. You, my love, are not just building a barn; you are crafting a testament to our dreams and the life we envision together. Your strength, both of body and spirit, fills me with admiration. I see the way you pour your heart into your work, the sweat on your brow, the dirt under your nails, and I know that every inch of that barn holds a piece of your soul. It stands as a symbol of your perseverance, your love for the land, and your commitment to us. In the evenings, when you finally rest and the day's light begins to fade, I treasure the moments we share. Your stories of the day's progress, the challenges you faced, and the small victories you achieved are woven into the fabric of our lives. Your passion and pride radiate from you, and it warms my heart to see you so fulfilled. The barn is more than just a structure; it is a promise. A promise of shelter, of growth, and of a future built by our own hands. It represents the love and determination that bind us, a love that will weather any storm, just as the barn will stand strong against the elements. I am in awe of you, my tradesman, and I am endlessly grateful for the life we are building together. As you shape each timber and lay each stone, know that my love for you is as steadfast and enduring as the very barn you are creating. I look forward to the day we will stand together in its shadow, proud of what we have accomplished, ready to fill it with the laughter and love of our future. Yours always, Ivan Bogdan

Echoing your owl experience, I built a timber framed pavilion recently to sit out on in summer, your videos helped and inspired me an absolute tonne. But just the other evening I was sitting working on the deck and a barn owl suddenly just alighted on one of the tie beams, I don't know who was more surprised, it or me, we just looked at each other for about ten seconds and it flew silently off. Amazing experience, never seen one that close outside a zoo. And like you say, highly unlikely to happen if I was stuck living in town.
