Hey Kris, no idea if you'll ever see this, but I am a 43 year old 'rat race' person with ADHD with 4 kids and waiting until they are moved out so the wife and I can seriously consider doing what you are doing. Circumstances mean we can't do it until they are older, but I watch your vids from start to finish, which for someone with ADHD, is I hope, a huge compliment. You are just so chill and easy going, no fluff in your videos and a genuinely lovely chap to listen to. I wish I had your foresight to do this when I was younger like you did, but hey, that didn't happen. Keep up the great work. Love listening and watching to you explain how all your stuff works and all your experimenting etc. That is what life is about. Trial and error, until we pass away. Take care, merry Christmas. Hi Chris isn’t it just wonderful to think that while you are working hard at making a life, others are sitting somewhere discussing how they would like to give you something to help make your life a bit easier and that they do this without any prodding or asking. What an example to set for all of us, we can all give in one way or another in many ways that are even better than financial at times. I thank my neighbours and friends for helping me help my wife of 50 years who now has dementia so big thanks for that. Wow! What a generous gift. We lived in the UK for 2 years and we were a very young family and I was in a low paying RN job in the NHS and our new baby had some serious health problems and the incredible grace and generosity we were shown, still to this day, 25 years later fills our hearts with incredible warmth when we think of all the lovely people that touch our lives and we cannot express enough how grateful we are to them. They turned what would have been a rather hard time into our lives to one we look back on with so much love.

My personal experience of doing that has been positive. It has been the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. And if you feel like you need to do it you should because we only live once. However I work more hours than I ever did in London and taking on a build like this is very stressful. But I would not go back and don't regret my decision in anyway. Getting the exterior covered must feel very good. The winter weather can be very unpredictable at best. Beautiful tractor and accessories will make working a pleasure in soggy weather. That cladding is far thicker than anything I have seen. Covered area for tools, machinery must be a big change, certainly a good one.
