One of my favorite concerts ever was seeing these guys at the Globe Hall in Denver, 2018. Prior the show they just sat around eating BBQ. I was mere feet from them. They were alone and few people seemed to know who they were. I wanted to chat them up but opted to instead give them their privacy. Incredible god damn music.

This is so incredibly well made, the musicians are fantastic, the music uniquly beautiful and the sound person is doing everything right. On top on this we get this recording that feels extremly intimate considering I am watching this on a screen. A few years ago I stumbled upon Timber Timbre and was absolutly enamoured with it for a few weeks straight and when I was at a park with a friend I overheard the group close to us playing Demon Host, I was over the moon especially as I've shown her the exact song just earlier.

Découvert aujourd'hui (oui, j'ai honte, je n'aurai pas de sel dans ma soupe ce soir qu'on m'a dit) Such a good guitar sound, so crunchy-clear. that voice that goes off at the end of every word. It recalls me a little, Lambchop and "The National" more refined.
