What Nick did here is more like Title Pie (ranks to be exact) than tiers in a way ain't it? Tierwise, Greg had a good point - the Nuggets should be higher than 5th. It just happens to be that the Nuggets go against the (new) favorite and so their chances to a title are smaller than the Knicks' (and maybe Mavs' etc.)..

If I know anything about Nick’s Tiers, it’s that they’re always 100% correct. I guess I should start looking into some 1991 news stories so that I’ll know what to expect from a Minnesota sports team winning something. For I all I know, we might all just collectively drop dead from the sheer shock of it.

Nuggets feel less like a massive calibration and more that they are facing a team that is perfectly matched against them that is also deeper, I mean the Nuggets need to change their bench going into next season but sometimes it's just about matchups. They def need a back up center they can play when Jokic isn't out but I don't expect their starting line up to change in the offseason.
@micaheldey1981
@micaheldey1981 8 күн бұрын
Exactly. Jokers kryptonite is athletic bigs. He has benefitted from a small amount of quality bigs, now he has to face multiple ones in a series it shows. Joker is awesome, but he would not have dominated in the 90’s when 10 of the best bigs where HOF caliber players who were 2-way players.

Sorry Greg but the Nuggets are fine where they sit. When they won the title last year, they didn't beat a single team with 50 wins. The best record was 45-37 and this year they've only beaten a 47-35 Lakers team. Minnesota is 56-26. Maybe Denver isn't simply who we thought they were and just benefitted from a very favorable draw last playoffs.

Wait?! You guys sounds real ignorant right now. You guys are speaking or talking about Denver as if they are in their mid 30's. They are a young team, not 22 of course but, still in their 20's. The reason Timberwolves are winning is because they have a better bench and of course they are a bigger, taller team that's playing with more intensity. But we'll see what happens in game 3, i think the Timberwolves will still win the series but, we'll see.

I mean no team repeated since golden state in 2017. The nuggets even against the lakers seemed off like the laker jumped up to leads but their backcourt plays no defence. When they played the heat in the finals even though they made it to the finals they were an 8th seed ran out of gas. I don’t think they been challenged like this before I just don’t see them winning championships
