Hey thanks. It’s a great time driving these little cars. We’ll work on the chassis and alignment to make the car quicker next time. I wasn’t confident the car would stick in the fastest turn called Riverside. Unfortunately one of our guys found out the hard way what happens when you spin off the track at Buttonwillow in the spring time. Deep mud caused his car to roll three times. Driver OK, car totaled.

I noticed a pretty strong flick on the last corner right before the home stretch. Is this an advanced technique creating oversteer to counteract possible understeer at the final corner? Less overall tire scrub? The final corner looks like a 90 degree from the video.

Great observation. Good for you. I think I tend to road race more like a rally driver in the dirt. Yes I am flicking the car aggressively to try to get some rotation earlier in the turn so I can pick up the throttle sooner. If I can get the nose pointed more down the straight, I can pick up the throttle sooner and harder. It’s only a third gear turn so the penalty for being less than perfect it’s not so great
