@Dark Side There were Christian, Jew and Muslims semites living in Palestine. Most of the population of modern Israel moved there from Europe, which anyone with eyes can see but some people are blinded by propaganda bias and lies.
@aamartin71693 жыл бұрын
@Dark Side Those were rhetorical?? Haha No one took it, the Jews weren't expelled from the holy land and always had a presence up until and during Ottoman rule. Many of them converted to Christianity and Islam. In fact while the Jews were being expelled from certain locals in Europe (pogroms and such) they were welcomed in the Middle East, and even have a presence in countries like Iran to this day. Sounds like you've been reading too much Zionist revisionist history.
@aamartin71693 жыл бұрын
@Dark Side Because you sound like a beacon of tolerance and understanding yourself. Believe it or not the number of peaceful Muslims far out number the violent extremists, and they are usually at the forefront fighting against the extremists who are often backed by Western nations. The modern Olympics was started by a bunch of rich dudes in Europe, that competed against eachother because they had nothing better to do with their time. Friends is too offensive for these people now... That's insane.
@elliotwilliams74213 жыл бұрын
I remember watching sitcoms from the 60s and 70s in the 90s when I was a teenager. A lot of that stuff could be deemed 'offensive' but you took it as a by gone era and realise people learn and change. Doesn't mean the sitcom wasn't funny or good or you shouldn't appreciate the writing. When you think about the positive influence friends had on society, strong female characters who probably opened the door for things like sex and the city, it crazy to be offended. On a positive note, my sister in law, who is 15, loves friends, can quote almost every episode. It's been shown on TV for years and the younger school age kids have caught the bug. So hopefully some of the younger ones are starting to be more realistic. Kids aged 18 and under tend towards he kids of those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s when the world wasn't woke. Woke brigade are kids of parents who grew up in the 60s and 70s, hippy generation
