Thanks for the breakdown, Harry. Good stuff! I personally trade in gold and came across a longer-term scoring matrix by an ex-Goldman Sachs manager. However, there were a few things like short interest from GDX (Van-Eck Vectors Gold Miners), which needed a Bloomberg account, but I found an alternative tool for free - Myfxbook sentiment data that is great for identifying key levels. This can be used to check retail positioning to gauge if there are any trapped traders, because it's trapped traders that fuel trends. Before the recent gold move there was a period of low volatility, from $1780 - $1820 which trapped many short sellers and created a rock-solid resistance level. Although these are mainly CFD's the liquidity providers trade against them on the Comex. Also it's good to check options data: 25-Delta risk reversals to see if the market is overbought/sold.

@David no, but I have seen his bitcoin channel and I downloaded an eBook by Tom Leksey that he recommended. It's basically a more intelligent supply and demand approach, that I have tweaked to suit my own needs.
