Thank you. Merry Christmas! Many of them have been in my loft for a few generations so I could say they are my family. I don't really look at the pedigrees, just at the results of the parents, preferably for more years - I think there is some Aarden there way behind in the family.

Merry Christmas! I love your pigeons and love the way they fly together ! Absolutely astonishing escapes from peregrine falcons. What a pity pigeons are currently not so welcome in Brazil, due to lack of information amongst people. From time to time a bunch of silly people spread fake news about pigeon deseases and their risk to human health. I sincerely hope this will change in the near future!

Hi Christian. Wow, Brazil, that is a bit far away. :) Yes, they aren't welcome in many countries, some call them "flying rats" as you know. This is what I try to change here on the channel, showing the fun and pleasure of the pigeons hobby and what interesting animals they are. Any animal spreads diseases and germs, especially to the same species. Well, during these complicated times it looks like people spread the most disease to people. ;) Hoping for a much better 2021!

I dare more saying people spread diseases not to people only but to the entire our dying planet itself by all kind of stupid things we do as the polution, forests extincting, huge number, so on. Did you know that people consume in 7 months all this planet produce in one year? How much will last this way untill the planet have not much to offer us? Including there in Brazil, the forest jungle which is considered *the lung of the entire planet* it is cut and cut continuously becoming the smaller and smaller because of people too, affecting other ancient people who lived in peace and harmony into those forest since thousand and thousand of years. We, people, are own danger, not pigeons, not other animals, no one but ourselves. No offence...

Hi Lucus. Luckily, at the time of settling the young birds (first 3 rounds in spring and summer) the birds of prey attacks aren't as bad as they are in autumn and winter, mostly because there are many pigeons available, lots of young birds from many fanciers, one loft races, etc. However, I always stay with them when they are outside, 1 hour morning and 1 hour evening, this tends to discourage hawks (many times I got attacks as soon as I entered the house). Whenever I have to go away, I call them in and close the loft - this is why I am very serious about them responding to my call - the ones that do not respond stay hungry for a day. Or more. Because it is for their own good.
