I have a theory. My theory is that Joe worked at the present store part time during the time of the last season, but then he got an offer to be the manager. But if he took the job, he wouldn't be able to run the house anymore because he wouldn't have the time. But he always wanted to manage the store. So, he called Steve, who had just graduated college and started the Blue Prints Detective Agency, but Steve was busy running the agency, so he couldn't move back in and run the house. So then, they agreed to call Josh and, even though Josh was really nervous about how things were going to work out, he agreed to do it. And Josh forgot all about being scared when he met everyone and they welcomed him with open arms! Idk if that theory is any good. It's my first theory.
