I love this so much, they are able to play these songs probably better now than when they were first released. Proper band. 💙

It's funny to see John being the most energetic these days, when he was the most quiet and still back in their prime

Pete in 2015 = a sort of 2010's British Jim Morrison Pete in 2022 = a sort of British UMBERTO SMAILA (italian legend in his own way, check him out) Once again, it's Gary and John who keep it all up, and Carl yeah. Pete's voice is still cool and well matured though!!

Pete's a decent bloke. (And as demonstrated here, the best singer in the band.) Carl is the one who whispered in my girlfriend's ear, maintaining eye contact with me, suggesting transgression. This was back in the Tap n' Tin. Having written that, I'm not sure if it wasn't poetry.

Where is the BBC coverage of their Glasto Set? None of it on the BBC website. Did they not allow it to be recorded?
@Lib942 жыл бұрын
Might be because the set was so early, fairly sure it’s not the band that didn’t want it recorded.
@NornIronMan.2 жыл бұрын
@@Lib94 I thought the whole thing was being recorded for the main few stages and you could pick which one to watch live on BBC using the red button on your TV if in the UK although I forgot to check while it was on live. Seems crazy it wouldn't be recorded considering they were getting a lot of press about being the opening act and even had the Ukraine PM as their warm up.
@Lib942 жыл бұрын
@@NornIronMan. yeah, very strange. Loads have asked bbc for the set but no reply as of yet sadly.

They played around 11.30, bbc coverage didn't start until around 2pm.
@NornIronMan.2 жыл бұрын
@@andywright6800 that's annoying so much mediocre rubbish on the BBC live stream that evening I'm surprised they didn't start coverage earlier to catch them.

The drumming is excellent , he has to be up there with Reni Enjoyable performance Better than their Glastonbury performance imo

I honestly feel they are just touring for cash now. Not much heart In the performances. I think they need a new album to freshen up the setlist
@ilovecats42082 жыл бұрын
Peter actually admitted in an interview in an Irish paper that that's exactly why he's touring - lol - for cash. Peter and Carl don't even hang out anymore; they live in different countries. I would still love to see them or him live. That's something I hope to do before he completely stops touring :)
@dreamsreselling72152 жыл бұрын
I agree with that dude We need a new album that's for sure. Don't think that's coming any time soon tho.
