He's been bulletproof since the beginning remember Bulma shot him point blank. I think that strong warriors who have a lot of energy are all bullet proof.Krillin ans Master Roshi have also taken bullets from Launch.

Not spoiler- Goku's grandpa taught him basic martial arts. Krillin learned martial arts at a monastery. Roshi honed both their training but did not need to teach them the basics. So this is why they both can fight so well. o/

Goku was shot by Bulma when they met way back in the beginning. Sometimes it's difficult to know when to take things seriously, but yeah, Goku has always been seen to be bullet resistant.

Goku is kind of bullet proof . you saw that during the training arc when Launch shot Goku , Krillin and Master Roshi and those three survived even tho it hurt them . the bullets used to hurt Goku more but now it hurt him less once he is now stronger than before

Yes Goku is bulletproof. He was hit by Bulma in episode 1 and it just hurt him a little bit. The stronger Goku gets, the more durable he gets

スノは本当に可愛くて良い子ですよね。平和に暮らしていたスノ達の村を恐怖のどん底に落としたレッドリボン軍…彼らは人を殺す事に何の躊躇いもありません。スージーがOPの事ばかり語ってEDについて語らない事を気にしているコメントもありますね。 EDは確かに名曲に間違いないんだけど、週に1回の放送が終わる時に聴いて寂しさが増す体験をしていた感覚と、一気見する事が出来て気分が高まってばかりの感覚だと、しんみりするEDに対する印象が違うのかもしれません。

Scotland is a singular country. Great Britain is the island that Scotland is on (along with Wales and England). The United Kingdom describes the Monarchal (under the same Monarch) combination of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (which is on a different island).

How convenient that Suzy was appropriately warmly dressed for this episode - it looks frighteningly frigid where Goku is right now! 🥶 Give us some of that hot cocoa please! Sno is the epitome of adorable. It's so funny when she asked if they could "keep" Goku. xD I think I was so enamored by this part of the story because I grew up in a warm, tropical place, so heavy snow and the "things you do because it's wintery weather" like wearing snuggy-warm clothing and hunkering down with treats that warm the body and soul was pretty novel to kid me. That Toriyama-san loved taking his audience on grand adventures like here in Dragon Ball really helped spark adventurism in us.

The mom thought Goku was dead, that's why she mentioned it's for the authorities. 🥶 The trail got covered in the blizzard, so the army couldn't follow it through, so they went on that cliff to scout the area. 1st wish for underwear... i'm guessing Oolong is wearing them properly. 😂 Goku, Roshi and Krillin are bullet proof.... they were superhuman from the start basically.

Ooh Suzy it makes me think while you talk about Pokémon! You would really love the new Pokémon series called Pokémon Horizons. I 100% recommend it to you, it's really good and it's not like the original anime, it looks more like a normal "shonen" anime but in the Pokémon world. Goku is bullet-proof. I think the average bullet travels at 950 - 1100 ft per sec. And, if you are, say, 10x stronger th\an an average man, those same bullets will be 10x less effective, or equivalent to those bullets only traveling 95 - 110 ft per sec. However, a bullet must be traveling at least the equivalent of 163 fps to penetrate your skin. So, at 10x normal strength, you`d be bullet-proof, basically (but not from the most power firearms), and Goku is much stronger than that.

I was born and raised on American made Rock the Dragon, but even I think Cha La is more hype and iconic. That said, Rock the Dragon always has a place in my nostalgic heart. But I think Cha La does top it and I also do typically love dubs too. I prefer the English dub opening for Dragon Ball intro myself. Just for Z, Cha La is better.

Clearly you haven't made it to Z yet 😂 Which brings up an interesting question, should Suzy react to the original Z, or Z Kai? 🤔 (For those who don't know, the original was stretched out considerably with filler and scenes that dragged on to keep up with the manga release before it was finished. Kai is a re-edited version with pacing closer to the manga)

The amount of times you get stunlocked by this show is crazy xD Sarcasm-heavy paraphrasing incoming: "How can this army be so evil?? Like, there's never been such an evil group ever in the history of fictional work; this anime is so unrealistic, like, why are there dinosaurs??" - Suzy probably u gotta let the show cook and do its world building first before pointing out the wrongs/inconsistencies it is showcasing xD This IS ur first time experiencing the DragonBall franchise/universe after all, a new IP, a new work of fiction; DB isn't based on an existing franchise, thus you are watching the show establish its own world/lore/consistencies. "That's the only reason they [red ribbon army] are strong, they are using weapons". Weapons = power; more powerful than an average human punch/kick. These are not fighters in a tournament, these are soldiers in an army, trained to kill, not fight. And so when you think of them as a military force rather than a group of fighters, this army is very, if not extremely strong, in this world, since (1) we haven't seen EVERY soldier/character of the red ribbon army (2) they are shown to be all around the world and (3) they have so many resources and military personnel like tanks, fighter jets, bases, etc that the average group of people in this world, or even our world in real life, would be intimidated by the might of this army. It's not like 50% of the population of this show has been portrayed as being just as strong as Goku, Master Roshi, the Ox King, Krillin, Nam, or Even Yamcha. We are talking about a less than 1% of this franchise's world population being "super" beings. This anime is very much fantasy, just like most other animes and other fantasy shows/movies. Also, an example of an evil army that exists that is of a large scale that spans a large presence of a world, if not multiple worlds, is the Galactic Empire from Star Wars. Stormtroopers are notorious for doing just as much excessive/needless shooting and wrongdoing as the common and non-common soldiers of the red ribbon army (shooting up a civilian's home, for example). Basically just trying to say is, remember this is the first venture into this franchise, and thus far, its made itself abundantly clear that it is very fictitious and fantasy, if the dinosaurs still existing weren't already a dead giveaway, along with magic balls that summon a dragon to grant a wish. Just let the show cook, plz and thank you :) *i say all this cuz most of the time i cant tell if most of ur complaints/questions are jokes/sarcastic or seriously being asked aloud without much thought

So, not to "Um, actually" you about your own country, but the United Kingdom is the entirety of England, Scotland, and North Ireland, Britain is the name of the landmass England and Scotland are on, and Scotland was formerly it's own independent nation, which is why the three separate name thing is a thing.

You have to keep in mind that Akira was a gag manga author, which slowly changed to more serious with Dragonball. So if something doesn't make sense, it's probably supposed to be a funny gag. Just enjoy the gag and don't worry about the logic.

What is funny about rewatching DB after having seen up to DBSuper is... Goku seems pretty damn strong when you see DB the first time, but he is pretty damn weak and slow compared to the insane levels he reaches later, I keep forgetting "oh right, he still is not strong enough to simply do X thing", which shows us how the character evolved both physically and mentally across the plot's progress. Toriyama did an excellent work!

Goku's quest is becoming serious with him fighting like one many army. No more weird antics such as dad jokes or toilet humor seen in these few episodes. I imagine Goku must be engaged in the toilet firing like a machine gun, especially after eating outside foods due to travels but the soldiers must have interrupted his nature's call LOL.

Goku is not exactly bulletproof (only resistant). He can still be killed or at least hurt by a bullets if he lets his guard down. I think it has something to do with ki (life force energy) barrier which also keeps his clothes mostly intact and it's not unique to Goku.
