Welp, there are 2 reasons that can explain why that happened. 1) Ya painted every single piece of ya ship down to the very atoms red, then pressed da red button. Or 2) Youself and ya krew drank the rum that was labelled "For Time traveller's only."

If I had to guess, I’d say that the game’s timed animations for the waves and sky bugged out and froze up. Because they have to sync across clients for accurate naval combat, the server eventually kicked the game to update the state of the waves and the time of day, but doing that instantly would probably strain the game beyond its limits, so instead it just speeds up until it’s back to normal. Cue “Made in Heaven”

Ran into this gally HG couple weeks ago. When the match ended, we got instantly invaded because the timer went up in seconds. Had to do 2 fights like this but at least we won them both. I feel bad for the other teams losing in that circumstance
