I watched this video right after it came out over 7 years ago and I probably come back to it at least once a year. The music really touches my soul and reminds me of the days when I traveled without a care in the world, no other time lapse can touch this one. Such a beautiful composition.

Everything, the beautiful shots you've taken, the amazing places you must have visited, travelling to 17 countries in 343 days, the interesting and amazing people you must have met, the entire incredible journey, and just everything else. I envy the maker of this traveling report for the piles of money which somebody like me wouldn't bring in while his whole life. I have visited 23 countries by today. Mostly in Europe , but also North Africa and North America . It took me more than just 1 year. I took me about 40 years. But I have enjoyed all the places I've been to. That counts. Canada is beautiful, Carthage is an ancient memorial , Italy- for me not the " salt&pepper in the soup, but the honey on my bread", Cutest girls I met in Bratislava/Slovakia. Midnight sun , summer solstice, while my summer vacation in Sweden. I have visited some of the world's smallest countries : Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, San Marino. But also some of the biggest ones , USA and Canada. And I've been to famous world cities - Paris, London, Budapest, Venice, Vienna. Next summer I'll travel to Norway. I am German citizen. My passport allows me traveling to and through almost every country in the world "visa- free". My currency "EURO" is accepted everywhere in the world . There is nor question about it. The main thing is : HEALTH . Unfortunately I have sustained a heart attack last year. Though I am getting better slowly, I'm not over it at all, not yet. It may take some time- I think. Hi Rainer, keine Ahnung ob du das noch liest, aber ich hab eine Frage. Du erwähnst ja, dass du mit deinem Pass überall ohne VIsum reingekommen bist. Aber ich dachte, man könnte nur in Europa so frei herumreisen und bräuchte für alle anderen Länder ein Visum? Mich interessiert das sehr, weil ich vorhabe, in ein paar Jahren (nach meiner Ausbildung) um die Welt zu reisen.. und eigentlich möchte ich möglichst wenig Geld für Visa und so was ausgeben, um länger reisen zu können :) Und wie sieht`s mit dem Euro aus? Ist der wirklich überall so viel wert oder muss man sich in jedem neuen Land mit windigen Geldwechslern herumschlagen? ;) Danke im Voraus, Jannick

Guys! To everyone wondering where some places are in the video such as china, greece, and italy I'd like to tell you that he made this by using footage and images (dont know too much about photography) from his trips to these countries. It wasn't meant to show every monument in the world. It was meant to show us his combination of time lapses within these countries that he traveled to. He traveled to 17 countries in case you want to know. Anyway regardless of the countries and monuments, this took forever to make so I'd be thankful that we even have it. Check the description BTW

To those who criticize that this isn't an accurate representation of "around the world." Look at a globe! It covers quite a bit of it. "Around the world" is a circumnavigtion of the globe, not a country count. I've cirumnavigated the globe twice and think this is a lovely video.
