I've found that you need to live life with a growth mindset, rather than aiming for a set list of achievements becuase once you hit those milestones, life will still keep going and you need to still be fulfilled by it. Keep going and keep focusing on getting better, smarter, happier, stronger Thabks for the vid!

Sometimes life just gives you a hand you have to deal with. I don't think life is a check list of accomplishments to be had. I've found that checking off goals still didn't make me satisfied in the end. I got married, check. I moved away, check. Had a child, check. I still feel meh about it all. I love my husband and my child but I still don't feel fulfilled with this life. The excitement of the chase wears off.
@jake_enslin

I agree with that. Everyone definitely gets a different hand. Different challenges, privileges, forms of oppression, etc. It's not all roses. I can relate though. I found I that I checked off a lot of "societal" goals (like goals I wanted but maybe mostly wanted because they seemed like what everyone else wanted idk). And it took a lot of internal work to search for other things I wanted in life too.

I've been struggling to find a purpose for a long time, been playing video games my entire life though. Like, my dad worked in computers and I was given one at age 8 and I have just been playing games and stuff for a long time. My family life isn't perfect, got a lot of issues and it's true what you say. I work 40+ hours a week to support my family right now since my canadian step-dad is immigrating here, and I sort of just got forced into it. But I am keeping my head up and I continue to work, and I want to start coding. Learn how to code maybe make my own game or something like that. Learn what I can and do what I can. If I can just focus on learning martial arts, and learning code. Two things I've always wanted to do and dreamed about maybe I can get something out of this life.

Ya man, a goal to chip away at can make all the difference! It doesn’t have to be world changing, just something meaningful to you. And you can always change that goal if you decide it isn’t meaningful anymore. Also I’ve dabbled in game design myself! Would love to get back into it someday. I used unity, but I think I’d go with Godot whenever I start again. What kind of game would you want to make?
