Hello! My wife of 51 years had an Erector Set when she was a youngster. She and her brother built the Ferris Wheel. We just bought more 5-inch curve pieces for the wheel and plan to build the wheel this summer. We cannot get past the concept of building it, then dismantle it. We display all that we build. That's why we need to get more and more parts and sets... Thank you for the video and the webpage of the Ferris Wheel instruction page.! All will be used as a resource when the time comes.

Nice. My wife just found one in the basement that her brothers played with back in the 40's.

Hi! My 6 year old son and I just inherited this set but can't find the manual. Any chance you happen to have a copy of instructions?

Pages from the Erector set manual are at www.acghs.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/8.5_Models.pdf The picture of the Ferris Wheel in the manual are all of the instructions provided. With patience it can be assembled by carefully studying the picture (it can't be put together by a six year old - it's significantly too complicated for that to happen). The AC Gilbert Society web page is at www.acghs.org/?page_id=767 That page has many erector set downloads. By Googling you can find other info on line...
