They didn't. I flew on the A330 on 2 holidays and didn't and that was refurbished it was probably cos the cam was hooked to am old crappy CRT screen

I flew on one just days after refurbishment (still smelt new) and brown dirty water that smelt like dirt/dust kept dripping from the overhead panel on my lap.....
