Just because it has an uninhabitable spire DOESN'T make it the tallest on the West Coast. Salesforce in SF is higher with more occupied floors.

eardrum buzzer salesforce has 62 floors and Wilshire has 73.Im not sure what salesforce will have or if it will be just an office building but U.S bank tower is the tallest of the west

From what I know about them, U.S. Bank Tower rises to 1018 feet. Salesforce rises to 1030. Here again, my peeves come into place. The top 100 feet in Salesforce will be unoccupied and reserved for 24/7 light displays and motion pictures. These towers should be measured from ground level to highest occupiable floor. Decorative spires and the like should be left out of the equation. The floor to ceiling measurements in Salesforce are much higher than what has been built into the Wilshire and the U.S. Bank Tower. With that info, i think the U.S.B Tower looks higher than Salesforce does. Original plans for Salesforce had the final height at 1180 feet but the downtown community objected to the shadows (as if that extra 100 feet would make any difference)! I think Seattle is building a tower that will end up being the tallest on the west coast, from what I've recently read.

eardrum buzzer you have wrong information left and right!!!! Salesforce Tower reaches 1.070 feet to the top and is the tallest ALL OFFICE BUILDING west of Chicago. It surpasses the tip of US Bank tower (helipad) by 52 feet and surpasses Wilshire grand's TOP FLOOR! The stupid spire on Wilshire grand shouldn't even count in my opinion it should be behind Salesforce and US Bank. The thing about Salesforce is that your able to access the tip top of the tower like US bank. You can't do that on Wilshire grand. The crown is 9 stories and has a night plublic art display. That display reaches taller than Wilshire grands crown.. (not spire) the reason why Salesforce has less floors is because the ground to ceiling height is more greater, therefore the ceilings are taller on each floor. Floor count don't really matter. And as for Seattle their 1,111 foot tower got shrunk to 1,029 feet. So it will only surpass the US bank by 11 feet. Making the US Bank the 4th tallest on the west. Salesforce is a huge tower. The original proposed height was actually 1,200 feet not 1,180. And the crown has much more greater volume than Wilshire Grand's spire. Salesforce truly stands out as a tall building. And if you stood on top of Salesforce Tower (which your able to do) then you would be looking down on both Wilshire grand and US Bank towers.

eardrum buzzer in my opinion SF will have the best skyline on the west coast considering it's size and population of the city. And u can't beat the bridges and waterfront. Have you seen SF skyline? It truly is transforming and is 2-3 years off from completion.
