Micromanaging is having a belief that no one can to a task in the same way as you or do it in a way that will be good enough. Stems from performance anxiety and deep distrust in others.

Control is ego. Drop the ego, drop the impatience. Contemplate the bigger things in life, feel small in comparison, this is how you combat the ego, which is a state of feeling bigger than. Do so by delegating and automating, these are things that implicitly say "someone else can do an adequate job, I don't need my hand in the pie." This means you accept the lesser than position, and thus a sign of stepping out of an egoistic state.

Don't waste your potential, because potential not acted upon turns into pain and depression. Whenever I make consistent progress with my KZbin channel I feel most fulfilled. Even though I recently started and I don't get many views I stay at it. Tom Bilyeu says success is being able to accept yourself when you're by yourself. Taking consistent action will get you there. It's worth it.
