Very good advice here. You're right that it's best to complete work after getting home rather than having a break, getting comfortable, losing momentum and then trying to start working again. I also agree that it's a good idea to get up earlier and then start work as soon as possible. This is not just because most of us have more energy in the morning but it also gets tasks out of the way rather than having them loom in the background. The problem with procrastination is not just that it risks not getting work done but it means having those tasks at the back of your mind until you do them. The best advice is to get any tasks done as soon as possible, not waiting until close to a deadline. I think setting start and end times for work at home - not unlike those in jobs and college - is a good idea. Obviously some people due to family commitments, etc, may need more flexibility but it's best to structure working as much as possible.
