Slim, I love your creativity in your videos. I find myself getting tired of watching other KZbin RV channels, but not yours. You keep things interesting both visually and verbally....plus you are not always trying to sell something. It is refreshing and relaxing. Thanks for what you do. It is great for those of us stuck in the house during these times.....

Slim, I love your voice so much that I let you put me to sleep at night. Not saying that you're boring. I'm saying it's very soothing. I also just love Learning new things from you. I've lived off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska for 17 years now and I recently ordered cheap solar panels from harbor freight and now I can get internet access to be able to watch your Channel. I've been able to utilize KZbin for so many helpful things. Last summer I finally put down my septic tank system after 16 years of outhouse!!! Thank you Slim!!! I'll be watching and listening. 💋

Mr. Potatohead the fuel pump is in the gas tank and it depends on fuel in the tank to keep it cool don't drive with low fuel often or you will pay big when fuel pump craps out. It happened to me years ago no more running with low fuel for me.✌👍

The entire Dandelion plant is edible, from blossom to root. The flowers can be eaten cooked or raw, (there is a YT video of a bush crafter I follow from the UK who makes battered and deep fried dandelion flowers. They looked delicious!) The stems and leaves made a great salad green and the roots can be cleaned and cooked like a root veggie or dried, roasted and ground into a fantastic coffee substitute. I tried my hand at making some dandelion coffee for the first time this year, with some roots I picked out of my backyard. I actually quite liked it. Very close in flavour to coffee but with more of a fruity flavour. Quite delicious and easy to process. It would make a great evening-around-the-fire "mug-up" drink just before hitting the sack as there is no caffeine.

Hello Slim, you were smart to not let your gas tank run dry. The fuel pump uses the gas in your tank for cooling, with these in tank fuel pumps. Thanks for the campsite book tips. I've gotten to the point where I do look forward to Slim's video's. So mellow, well edited and Slim seems to have a batural knack for finding the best and beautiful camping sites I've ever seen. Just leatning as much as I can until my home is paid off in just over three years. I'm a 6 yr lung cancer. I defeated the cancer but the chemo and radiation beat me, lol. I'm very thankful to be alive. After all, in the beginning the doctor told me, 'I ggive you about 90 days', thank you Lord Jesus! Plans are to pay house off, buy a small travel rig and then pickba direction and camp wherever the road leads me. Haven't been camping in way too many years so I'm dreaming and looking forward to it.... I live in the far south area of the U.S. would love to one day maybe meet Slim on the road and sit back and drink a cup of coffee with him. Love his style, so laid back. Just enjoying life as it should be. Wishing you nothing less than the best on your adventures Slim. Keep on doing what you do, you cannot imagine how many you have inspired.

If you're going as far as Watson Lake, get gas at the pumps in front of Watson Lake Motors, by far the cheapest in town. It's just east of the Sign Post Forest. It's not well marked, but that's where the locals get their gas.

Slim, I have not watched you for awhile, and your trailer is not the A-liner... The peacefulness of this video is appreciated and thanks. I often worry about you getting lonely, as you do not even have a dog.. Lately, there is so much uncertainty in the world, and I realize there is absolutely no one I trust anymore, and I feel my attitudes changing.. Lots of things that used to be important to me are no longer integral to my peace and joy. Today, I feel lonely, and so disappointed in others, and am just looking to spend a little time in the company of someone who is gentle and kind. Which is why I’ve come to you. It feels just like coming home. There is an innocence and quietness about your lifestyle, refreshing.. I have never watched one of your videos without learning something valuable.. Staying on the move like you do does not keep one safe from predators, and I will never forget how the Mexican cop extorted you for cash. Stay well, stay safe, and try to drive with a full tank of fuel if you can.. Thanks for everything, my friend...I wish I were traveling with you.. You are a blessing.. xxoo

Just beyond Fort Nelson you may see black bears near the side of the highway! And, you're now entering some of the most scenic areas of northern B.C. Cheers, Steve Edit: Do not rely on the printed maps for seeing where the gas stations are - I made that mistake and was relying on a gasoline station being open ... it wasn't, and was out of business. Then I had to make a tough decision to turn back or go forward not knowing if I had enough gas for either direction. The good news is, you will see pick up trucks carrying large external tanks for stranded motorists - the bad news is the price you'd have to pay for such a service and the time you'd have to wait for one to show up.

Another good one, Slim. When you began demonstrating survival foods there were some fireweed plants visible beyond your right shoulder. People who are not in survival mode make delicious salads featuring the tender growth at the top of fireweed plants. Agreed that it's good to know how many miles/kilometers you can expect from a tank of gas, and I have a hunch you also know (but are keeping to yourself) how much of another kind of gas you can expect to from a can of beans. ;^)
