man hearing tony and matt talk, and tony let matt present like that and matt killing it as he has done in a bunch of the newer episodes, right as i start a new job my own self, my heart beams with with happiness for every member of time team, this is such a tremendous deal for you all, im so happy you all are getting to do this, and so grateful to be along for the ride. I also want to give my respects to Helens dedication levels. To be involved so closely with one specific site for all of ones adult life is pretty amazing. Mick was right to choose her for the original show. My appreciation for the anglo saxons has grown enormously because of her work!

@dawnzed28915 ай бұрын
I started binge watching this show about 10 years ago. With the added benefit of Google Earth I'd make it a challenge to use the placenames and sometimes the ancient or sketch maps they'd show --- to find exactly which field they were digging in and using historic Google imagery, see if I could catch the pit(s) not quite healed back into the crop, or perhaps open and actively being dug, with time team tents and vehicles nearby. Time Team captured by a moment in time on Google Earth.. forever

Indeed, a brit here. It's explained well, but not dumbed down. You can see this is British children's literature also. Plenty of US telly to like, but far too much dumbing down.

He is still very sharp-witted with that hint of mischief in his eyes. As long as no-one encourages him to go leaping into the trenches like he was doing 15-20 years ago Tony should be good for a few more 'specials' yet.
