All those windmills and not a bird in sight. At one time, if people were digging in the land, birds would be everywhere, even ploughing or harvesting but put a windmill there and the birds go, either dead or moved away where I live in haven't seen a sparrow or starling, or any othere bird for years, except for magpies pidgens .

"Futhark" is not a magical formula or blessing. It's the first 6 letters of the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. While the runes predate the vikings, the creation of "Futhark" as an alphabet from said runes is a very recent invention (mid-20th century). So neither vikings or the people preceding them would've ever carved "futhark" (it'd be like someone spraying the graffiti "ABCDEF" ... extremely pointless), meaning someone very recently carved that thinking they were being cute and mystical.
