I think the profit margins of luxury brands are too big, which is why there are various imitation luxury goods on the market. For example, the famous *hotdups* , their existence is reasonable and targets different groups.

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Because if I have the money, enjoy fashion, and the house brand etc. It’s not that I’m “bothered” by people buying dupes or fakes, but if I invest my hard earned money into that item, I wouldn’t want to buy that brand, or bag, or design and find something more than fit into my needs and wants as *preluxz* . And nothing is wrong with that.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *preluxz* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.

To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *esluxy* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do

Ironically the popularity of Hermes has slowed down mass luxury shopping.

I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *topluxs* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. Sooo many scams, faked out there! And Robbers/scammers are taking advantage of the “downfall” of luxury in second hand market. I was just scammed by someone who was selling lv bag half price, normally I wouldn’t fall for it. But consignment, online resellers are offering quotes half the price or even less, so I fell for it. I have two pre-loved *preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

Loving your ethos and your content is truly one I enjoy. Luxury should be, well, luxury. An occasional treat, not the norm. I think the luxury craze of the pandemic years prompted an increased attention (and discerning customer eye) on many high quality, high street (or small luxury) brands, new and old. Some (not all, regrettably), in turn, have upped quality and attention to detail. There are great brands to explore without feeling a grip in one's soul at the cost while the quality that is equal or much better than the big names. Preloved is also great, I've done a lot of it, but I'm now focusing on high-street-meets-luxury-tier items.

Its due to life changes, 20yr old love luxury back in the day who were millennial and are now entering parenthood so their disposal income that use to go to luxury is going to the home and their children. I have the mini Wallace in denim and navy and it fits perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, which is why I bought it instead of the mini *esluxy* . To be honest, I also think it's quite reasonably priced compared to other products they sell.

Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Also, polene and atelier auguste are considered as more influencer brands regardless their quality because they gift their bags to influencers instead of influencers voluntarily buy them. The luxury community is in the recession phase because the “luxury” or “high end” designer bags have been significantly accessible even for those people who were not into designer bags and people still buy expensive bags after a number of price increases. Anyone can buy from wherever they want. If you approach the products of these brands in such a mathematical way, you really shouldn't buy anything from them, because you won't get any joy out of the product. The pricing is what it is, it's not worth making an ethical issue out of it, because you can get bags, clothes... much cheaper elsewhere. And yes, a mistake was made, that shouldn't be allowed. Independent certification would be nice, but I was able to speak to a supplier myself last week and saw the workers there - it was correct.

Yes, even for LV, Chanel if one were to sell it to a consignment stores, they are bounded to lose money simply because consignment stores will also need to take a profit and if the item do not sell off immediately which is now the case, they have to keep the store and same goes to them, money sitting on the shelfs. Thus they are slashing prices too. Good for those who want to buy some luxury and not paying the retail prices. I still have some wish list too but i have slow down a lot too. Ok not that i bought a lot during the pandemic but would say that would be sufficient to rotate in my wardrobe. Yes Hermes scarfs are the best in terms of quality and design. Thanks for sharing 🤗😍

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Because if I have the money, enjoy fashion, and the house brand etc. It’s not that I’m “bothered” by people buying dupes or fakes, but if I invest my hard earned money into that item, I wouldn’t want to buy that brand, or bag, or design and find something more than fit into my needs and wants as *hotdups* . Lux will always be around….it might not hit the hyped up volumes during the pandemic but folks will always buy lux. I’m still buying….but mostly pre-luv..brand new bags only a couple of times per year. I agree other lux houses probably use vendors as well and don’t really care about worker standards. This may not be a popular opinion…but I think a lot of folks I’m watching on the tubes are showing “fake outrage” around this. They are still buying from Dior and the others…..and frankly this manufacturing scandel just solidified in my mind that all these bags are so over priced…..we are not the brightest to think their quality is much superior to most contemporary brands. We are paying for the brand name and that is all…with a few exceptions. The leather is the leather…LV, Chanel and the rest are not sourcing leather from any special cows. Hermes…uses a lengthier and pricier process with how they dye their leather…but there are other makers who source from the same place as Hermes…the bag is just not handmade. Yes lux sales will continue to trend downward…as evident buy the latest LVMH and Kerings quarterly numbers. I do not think these lux houses will be able to replicate those pandemic high sales again. This is just the new reality.
