You two are such a blessing to me. I’m 70 year old widow and since my husband passed 11years ago I’ve tried putting everything in place so my son and his family don’t have to worry about anything. I’m getting my house ready with repairs on them but I’ve put my son in charge of it. I’m so sorry for your loss. I was looking forward to seeing your mom in Alaska living there with you ❤. My heart hurts for you sweetheart. ❤thank you for sharing this with all of us

An idea: How do you want to honor your mother. Do you want to plant a tree at your home for her? Write a cook book of her favorites? Do a plaque to hang of her favorite sayings? Do you want to start a mutual help group among your neighbors etc. Do you want to grow a certain plant next spring? Do you want …? How best to keep her memory going? Something to plan on during your long drive? I wish I could make it all better for you. I am a 72 year old mother and grandmother. You and your husband give us so much by taking us along on your journey in life. You have years ahead to offer the world so much good.

I lost my beautiful Mama in Nov of 2020-I will never be the same person. I understand driving away from your Mamas home she loved and lived in-mine for 45 years. Living in a world without the one who gave you life is difficult as you will find. But their love reaches you from Heavens clouds...look for her,she will be near you always. Death doesn't stop Mamas from loving their babies. Safe travels. 🙏💛🙏

Hi Stacey & Gary, please drive home safely. Keep your eyes and heart moving forward. I'm 63 and just paid for my cremation and listed on paper very short list of bills, accounts, life insurance, and the process of what my daughter will do upon my death. Of course, it wasn't anything she wanted to discuss, but I think it's always good not to leave family totally blind in the end.

Yes it’s a BC thing. From Oct 1 to April 30 you have to have M&S tires or carry chains. We hope to return the chains to Napa as long as we don’t use them when we return to Alaska. If it’s a snowy day we will just pull over and wait it out.
