Haha! It's a 2014 dutchman denali. The z3100 looks better and better every day, lol. After going to an rv show and looking at the brinkley rvs, they seem like the best option. Or They appear to offer more in quality and features than competitors at that price.

Guys, Baja California norte used to be a territory, until 1952 became a state, and Baja California Sur became a state in 1974, because these 2 states didn't have enough people, now with Los Cabos, known all over the world, is growing very fast, Baja California peninsula, used to be call Baja California norte (north) and Baja California Sur (south), but they dropped norte for Baja California norte because we all know it is in the north, they should do the same with the Carolinas in USA, Carolina and South Caroline, don't you agree?

I feel ya regarding the slides. The ones on our Keystone are Lippert hydraulic operated and after fixing messy leaks on the hydraulic lines 4 different times, I finally replaced all of the lines with upgraded versions. It's the type of slide you have. Schwintec are horrilble for the bigger slides. Always issues with them. Rack and pinion are far more reliable.
@wildrvlife
@wildrvlife Жыл бұрын
We actually had the Schwintek system replaced with the Vroom Slide System system which is MUCH better. We agree, Schwintek is horrible for large slides and never should have been used! That’s why we’re thinking it’s the controller, it was having some issues before too and the hardware all still seems good from Vroom. Now, the through frame rack and pinion on our living room slide is a whole other story and we have to have that one replaced once we’re back in the states 😅

So many things to tell you. I'm a native Southern Californian who has travelled and camped in Baja many times. I totally dig your channel. Baja is not for the faint of heart. It's a crap shoot if you break down. I love mexican food and you guys never fail to show all that mexican goodness 😊 Maverick is such a beautiful pooch 😍 I was going to say, if stuff would have started breaking down, I would have high tailed it to the border asap. Pemex gas is so watered down you really need an additive to keep your tank relatively clear of water etc.. I can't wait to see your trek home. Where do you cross back into the States? Okay, here's my ugly story. In 1996 my girlfriend and I crossed in Tijuana to go look at wrought iron furniture for her patio area back home in Torrance, CA. We went to Rosarito and shopped in the outdoor pavilion. We found a table & chairs and loaded it into our Jeep. We then went and had some lunch before we headed back to the States. Lunch was good and we hit the road. We got back to "T.J." and my girl said she needed to stop at a pharmacy to get some skin cream she needed that was prescription in the U.S. We parked the Jeep and started walking when all of a sudden we found ourselves in a gun battle between cartels. Bullets were flying everywhere and you could hear the automatic gunfire. I pushed my girlfriend to the ground and covered her while we hid behind a pick up truck. It was like full on war. We stayed put for awhile after the gunfire stopped. First Responders started coming, we jumped up and ran to the Jeep, we got in and I punched the accelerator to the floor and we were out of there. I love the people and the scenery but, I've never been back.

Thank you so much for watching!! We are crossing at Mexicali East which is where we crossed to Mexico at. I’ve heard a lot of bad stories about crossing at Tijuana, but your story definitely takes the cake! 😳 that would have been terrifying! I can understand why that was your last visit. We never did get over on that part of the peninsula. The waves would have been good I think for Craig, but it’s also just so much more populated, which is stressful with the rig!
