There's rake edging that should be installed. There should be butyl tape under it. That closure is for the eave edging, not the rakes. That is not the proper sealant for metal roofing. Sorry, but my advice is to have it redone. You may be able to salvage some of it.

Usually metal roofing includes angled trim pieces for the sides and bottom, plus the ridge cap. I don't see any of that in the video! Judging by the way the metal is screwed down, odds are it will leak and feel like rain inside! This is another case of Pug1 getting screwed over.

Can easily still be installed, cut that shit off they did to the cap, trim the edge, install gable to cover the hundred screws they put in the edge by house. I have done hundreds of metal buildings and roofs. Not one contractor or homeowner would pay me for that mess they have made. There are not even enough screws in each sheet to meet wind code in my old home state of Michigan. Some blue chalk and make your screws at least line up ffs. I would have quit and fired them with the reuse of the boot and storm collar on the vent for your furnace yesterday. Let the court decide.

Pug had a written estimate. I think the guy got butt hurt over not supplying the materials right from the beginning. It was a 5 day job for 3 men to do properly. The 4" gable end fascia boards should have been knocked off and swapped to 6" so proper trim could have been used. The foam would not have been needed on the gable ends. Cost of materials would have been just slightly higher. So a lead man 30$ per hour x 40 = 1200$ 2 do what their told dicks 22.50 x 80 = 1800$ Thats a fair estimate for this job done properly supplying all your own tools.
