Mix diesel with used motor oil 50/50in a pump sprayer for a stained/ wood treatment! Add more oil if you want it darker! Repels water and insects also darkens wood. Lol

Oils work really well for wood treatment if you need it to last a while... Someone local-ish to me found out their neighbour complained to bylaw about their fence not being stained, he had just put it up. He works at a heavy duty shop, so he grabbed some old used and burnt hydraulic oil and sprayed it on his fence. Gave it a really nice colour, but when it gets over 30 celcius it absolutely reeks of burnt hydraulic oil.

I said that last video about the barrels that went up! Used oil and any type of gas to thin it down some. Brush it on, wait a day, and then plant the posts into the ground.

We used to dump dry quick-crete in our post holes on the back-fill. If you pack it a little bit, it will become perfectly passable after a decent rain.
