I know the game doesn’t really have a hydration mechanic that forces you to drink water, so it the question is less about the game and more about the world of the game itself. The lady with the secret baby is the only one with a purifier for the tap water (which she uses for herself and her baby). Everyone needs to drink water to survive. Why don’t they just increase the concentration in the tap and do away with the pills?

This is based on the book 1984 written by George Orwell. A very disturbing, sad and on-point read. If you've ever heard of the game The Town with No Name, that one has an ending right at the start where you get back on a train that you just got off of when the game starts. However, I wouldn't recommend playing it because, if it's even still possible to get, everything about it is terrible, with the exception of a few small details.

@sterlingreaves9038 you find out the story while surviving, but basically, it's just a "what if" game about post WW2 England that's completely off the rails. Example: Modern constables don't travel by electric portals, but what if they did? How much good would that do? How much would they abuse that power? You have to just dive into how weird this game is to enjoy it, but not everyone will, and that's ok.

Looks like a piloted missile to me. Germany developed planes into bombs, basically just loading them with explosives and removing the ability to land. Someone would pilot the missile into something. Sometimes there were parachutes, but not usually.
