All, I didn't make this video asking for a debate on the state of our housing market, I made it based on factual information, and with a genuine desire to inspire younger modelers to model, and show that there's ways to do so, no matter what stage of life you're in. I would encourage everyone skeptical regarding my comments on our current housing market to check out the article below from CNBC regarding the current state of the housing market. Please educate yourselves, and understand that any derogatory comments you might have regarding young modelers, and the places they're able to afford to live are not a productive part of this conversation. Let's inspire young Modelers not scare them away! ❤ www.cnbc.com/2024/03/19/why-home-prices-have-risen-faster-than-inflation-since-the-1960s.html

Love the Falls River RR Alco and Batavia theme. Lockport has some cool aspects as well…engine house and yard, upside down bridge over Erie Canal, and old passenger station that was a restaurant but just a shell now. Looking forward to more. GVRR is a cool short line to model!

This is a really cool concept to have a coordinated group build a small Free-Mo layout which would presumably be attached as a branch or as part of the mainline to a larger Free-Mo layout.

@@woodalexander thanks Alex, I thought so too! Perfect opportunity to put a proto throttle to good use too! 😁

A home layout and a club layout going on at the same time. Too cool. Hey, you should make a video about how you found a club, or if you already have, could you point me in the direction of where to find that video. Thanks

Wow, Other Paul has a heck of a workspace. Overhead cranes and everything😲. Looks like these modules were built right, and off to a great start. Nice backstory and intro to the shortline. Looking forward to more.

Great to see! Would love to know more details on which standard you’re using and delve into more a more detailed explanation of the construction as you go along! Looking forward to the next installment

These will be North American Standard for sure. I can get a little bit more info on construction for sure.

FreeMo is such a neat concept, I just participated in the Syracuse setup this year and it was a blast. We just started a club for FreeMo down near Binghamton.

Great stuff Paul! Looking forward to seeing this project continue for y’all! I definitely want to build a freemoN module someday hopefully soon, when I have a bit more space to store it when it’s not being displayed. Unfortunately I am a victim of the beginning of your video, I’m stuck at my parents house until I can figure out where I’ll be landing and can start really making some money for rent! Thanks for sharing man!
